Should you have an unplugged ceremony?
It's amazing to have a myriad of memories from different perspectives, but there are several valid reasons to choose an unplugged ceremony or wedding.
As your photographers and filmmakers, we will cover everything, and would like your loved ones to enjoy the ceremony to its fullest. We want to capture your guests pure joy, their tears and laughter - but we simply can't if their faces are hidden behind a screen.
In addition, having many phones out may prevent us from doing our jobs properly. Phones also immediately date your photos and remove that timeless and classic essence. Some guests may obstruct our frames when it comes to important parts of the ceremony. For example, if people are trying to capture your walk down the aisle and maneuvering to different positions, we won't be able to photograph the overwhelming reaction of your beloved properly.
Consider going unplugged when planning your wedding - kindly ask your celebrant to make a note of this at the beginning of the ceremony so your professional photos and films are the best they can be.
