This week is National Week of Deaf People 🤟🏼
Most of you probably don’t know that my older brother Maximillian is profoundly deaf. He was born profoundly deaf and learnt Auslan as his first language and now my family all use Auslan to communicate with Max ☺️
National Week of Deaf People is all about celebrating and honouring the deaf culture as well as bringing more awareness to the deaf community and Auslan 🥰
If you want to learn more about Auslan I highly recommend checking out this Instagram account, it’s got a bunch of simple words and signs to get started
