We’ve been kept so busy with beautiful elopements & intimate weddings here at Let’s Elope Melbourne that we’ve only just noticed the year is half over! Now that we have a little breathing space we’re delighted and privileged to showcase some of the amazing moments we’ve shared with our gorgeous newlyweds (and their much loved fur babies)! As always our very talented Sarah Matler Photography and Tay Bassi Creative have gone above and beyond to capture each couple’s own unique wedding days!

There’s a saying that it’s good luck to have rain on your wedding day, and I am sure it’s because rainy day photos look so amazing!! We have been meaning to reach and formally thank you for being such an amazing celebrant.

We are so grateful to have had you be a part of the day and present with our family and friends. Everyone is still raving about how much they adored the ceremony and what a perfect fit you were for us and our intended day. It was such an ideal fit for what we wanted. It gave us a true sense of home, after being away for so many years. The day will forever hold special place in our hearts

I have also been madly recommending Lets Elope to friends who have reached out and looking something similar.

Wishing you all the best for 2023 and beyond. We will be sure to share some snaps from wedding 2 in Italy come late July.

We’ve had a fantastic start to 2023 here at Let’s Elope Melbourne and Sophie & Owen’s intimate wedding was a wonderful way to kick off a brand new year! Sophie & Owen have lived in Europe for quite some time and are planning a second ceremony in Italy, but wanted to share this very special moment with their closest family and friends in Melbourne. Christine & Dom's beautiful winter elopement in the Dandenongs had it all! A gorgeous b&b property complete with glasshouse for the ceremony followed by a fun photoshoot in the stunning grounds and then a private celebration with their witnesses. Simply perfect! And all lovingly captured by the very talented Tay Bassi Creative.

Taylah & Dom's intimate wedding was full of special moments and so much laughter! How sweet is this photo?!

Lots of couples ask about the best time for their ceremony or photo session. I'm a big fan of afternoon low raking light for that warm glow and shadows 💛🧡

This is another reason why I love winter weddings!!! Because the sun hangs lower in the sky 🌞 and sets earlier so you can make the most of the "golden hour" around sunset before any evening celebrations 🎉💕

Wow what a year it's been so far! We've been all over Victoria celebrating with so many wonderful couples on their wedding day.

Just loving the greenery that surrounds the Warburton Redwood Forest! T&N's intimate ceremony attended by family members was followed by an intimate photo session in the woods. Full of wintery forest adventures and peaceful moments by the river.

A beautiful parting gift was a question posed to me that has left me pondering... Where is my favourite location to photograph?...

I think I will have to write a blog post for this one because I struggle to decide on just one!

If there are any contenders out there you'd recommend please be sure to let me know. We are certainly spoilt for choice here in Vic!
