Busking in the streets of Melbourne.
I was a very shy kid growing up but always loved Transformers. Then I started to get into entertaining in my 20’s it somehow channeled this different personality, and I really loved it. After all that success, I applied my theatrical performance in all various types of costume work I do. Then I thought, let’s try this. Dress in a giant robot costume.
One day I was busking the streets of Melbourne, Australia with Cosplay Ironman. I was walking in a large costume that is about 7’ foot and dancing, and singing. I noticed the public response is what really made me smile. They absolutely love it, and it was such a rewarding feeling to lift up the community.
After that, someone captured a video of performing and it went viral all over the world, and that is how my journey begun.
Btw my kids does not give me the same response. I think they slightly enjoy it, but are also slightly confused...they will understand it one day! I dressed up as Santa recently and my partner had to hide me so the magic of Santa is not ruined for them haha.
