Did you know that 2023 marks 50 years of Civil Celebrants existing in Australia?!

The first appointed marriage celebrant, personally appointed by Lionel Murphy QC — Mrs Lois D'Arcy from Queensland — is still registered as a civil celebrant these 50 years later.

And because this is such a major event we’re taking it back to the 70’s where it all began, with a PARTY to celebrate.
