🎄 🎄 Christmas in the Boo – That’s a Wrap! 🎄

You came, you shopped, you ate, and you celebrated!
You caught up with family and friends, and most importantly, you supported our community after a challenging year.

A huge thank you to SG Off Road for donating the stage again this year, and to the Community Bank Mirboo North & District for sponsoring the fabulous wreath-making workshop! Special mention to the South Gippsland Shire Council Parks & Gardens team for making sure Baromi Park sparkled!

We’re so grateful to each of you, to our incredible stallholders, and to our amazing volunteers who made it all happen.

All funds raised from Christmas in the Boo stay with Mirboo Country Development Inc, helping to fund vital community projects.

Thank you for making this event so magical—here’s to a strong, connected, and festive community spirit! 💚

Lost property! If any of this belongs to you, you can collect it from the BBQ shelter in Baromi Park. There is also a large zip hoodie and a medium Just Jeans tee that were left in the Grain Store.

𝐂𝐚𝐧 𝐈 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐲 𝐝𝐨𝐠??

While we don’t say no, please bear in mind that the event attracts large crowds and at times it can be quite difficult to navigate walkways - this can be overwhelming for animals and people alike! Plus- with a hot humid forecast, it might be better to leave furry friends at home.

Any dogs in attendance must remain on a short leash at all time and are not to enter areas within 10m of food vendors so you will be quite restricted as to where you can go!

We love dogs as much as the next person, but Christmas in The Boo really isn’t the best place for them! 🐶

Join us at 4:45pm as we officially kick off Christmas in The Boo with a traditional Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony led by Angela Chittem.

The ceremony will take place near the top side of the playground, just up from the stage area and we welcome you all to attend.

💚 Can we count on you to help keep Baromi Park beautiful this Christmas in The Boo? 💚

We’re so lucky to have this amazing space in Mirboo North, and with your help, we can keep it looking its best. In previous years, volunteers were out until midnight picking up litter and were back at it in the early morning. We’ve doubled the bins and placed them closer to make it easier to toss your rubbish thoughtfully!

🌟 Special Request: Twisted Spud skewers can be tricky—please try to toss them in the shire’s permanent bins or the poly tube bin by the Spiral Spud stall to avoid tearing bin liners and spreading rubbish.

Many hands make light work, and together, we can keep Baromi Park clean for everyone to enjoy. See you at Christmas in The Boo on Friday, 6th December, from 5pm! 🎄
