We’re so thrilled to announce this cup-filling, power duo as our headlining act for the next event!

Armed with quick wit and songs which get stuck in your head, these two have been musically joking up a storm at Melbourne International Comedy Festival selling out a silly amount of shows and literally selling tea towels as they go.

Cannot even find the words to describe this night.. A SOLD OUT Happy First Birthday to ‘Ninch Nights’!! So many wonderful humans put their hats in the ring to be a part of this community, not only with setting up but the big pack down.

Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou! To all volunteers and Mornington Peninsula Arts & Culture for trusting us to host these events 🙏

Events like these take MANY helping hands. We can’t believe how quickly this community has grown and how many people have got our backs on the Ninch!

We took a very large risk and booked a venue we could only hope to half fill for our BIRTHDAY BASH, and damn we’re a month out and almost at full capacity.

We could find another venue, and try to sell more tickets but we don’t want to lose this intimate vibe. Maybe a festival is on the horizon for Ninch Nights…. Who knows 🤔

Its YOU who makes it all so special so thanks again 🙂

Here’s where it alllll started - an idea and a (nervous) mums backyard.
And now.. This Wednesday 9am AEST ‘General Admission’ tickets go on sale to our FIRST BIRTHDAY BASH on April 27th. 🎉

Early Access tickets have been flying so fast that we’ve decided to get a larger venue (still in Rye!) as we’re almost at FULL CAPACITY already and we’re still two months out… 🤯

WHAT!??

So, to celebrate our birthday.. let’s go LARGE - It will still be the same format event (byo picnic, rugs, chairs etc) but we’d love you to bring your dancing shoes just incase and maybe finish off the night really celebrating! 💃🏻

A couple of things here…

FIRSTLY, what a wonderful night Saturday was! Thanks everyone who came along - all the artists and of course, all our ‘sponsors’ also known as our best friends (listed at the bottom). *please note we are missing a few of them in the group photo 🥺…

SECONDLY, we are blown away that before even announcing that tickets are available for our next show (April 27th), you’ve already gone and snapped up a bunch of early access tix?!? Well.. cats outta the bag, discounted tix available til the end of Feb-ish… we pretty casual here 🙂

Well that was just something else..
There aren’t enough thank you’s in this world - to Alana Wilkinson MAXON & Flynn Gurry our BEAUTIFUL artists for sharing and making us all feel a full spectrum of emotions, our volunteer furniture removalist crew getting things done without hesitation, Spud from Elusive Creative on sound for filling that glorious room with all the right sounds, to Blue Mini Cafe & Catering for letting us overrule the space, Loz from Sunday Lemonade for guiding us through all the highs & lows and of course, to everyone who came along.

We already miss it so you just know we’re mapping out the next N.N instalment.. Does Feb 24 or March 16 work for anyone? Why not both?

One month to go until we reunite for a wonderful show on the Mornington peninsula! We released more tickets recently and they’ve been moving well, no rush but at this rate it seems we’ll have none left in two weeks.
