FLOWER PLAY SESSION 2

This one has been living in my head rent free for probably close to a year. I wanted to get doors and make a beautiful overgrown garden swirling and whirling around them. They make you want sneak through them and discover the amazing adventure that awaits.

Think entrance to an aisle. Think ceremony back drop. Think photo back drop. Think fantasy forest shoot.

Loved making it! Can I make something like it for you?

Home grown.

Evening play so the lighting doesn’t show off the velvet color of the chocolate cosmos great.

What she looses in stem strength and durability, she makes up for with her prettiness.

FLOWER PLAY!

I love what I do, but in between jobs… my hands itch to play.

To have no restrictions or restraints. To try out ideas, play around with colors, textures, flowers I might not work with much. To practice, practice, practice. To have some me time. To meditate with my hands.

It gets me excited. So I decided to do it more, and share what I create with no one to guide me but me!

BLOOMS TO CELEBRATE MY BABY BUMP

We interrupt your usual wedding content for the maternity shoot I didn’t know if I would have time for, but I’m so glad I did!

Wearing flowers is fun and ethereal and fairy like no matter where or why you wear them. But celebrating my last few days of pregnancy with them is even more special. All home grown in our garden.

We can’t wait to meet you little man!!!!

HENS DAY AT THE RACES

Yesterday was my gorgeous cousins hens day .

The rain didn’t diminish the fun, and I got to make headpieces for myself, my mum and my sister to match our dresses!

1 YEAR AGO…

A year ago today I created my beautiful flower model for show case .

It was one of the craziest things I have ever done, and I went into it having no idea what I was doing and just going with the flow and playing to my strengths.

Not only did I come away with some pretty special awards, I made some pretty special friends like (who reminded me it had been a year when I saw their post 😉) and the wonderful who I have gone on to freelance for and can’t thank them enough for all the fun wedding bump ins I have helped with.

I couldn’t have done it without my wonderful husband who helped me set up until the wee hours of the morning and who supports me and my flowering work everyday.

THE GALA 2023

Last night I flowered (and attended) my 2nd a night to get dressed up and raise money for the Victorian Cancer Council.

We made it bright. We ate amazing food and partied. And we all did it cause we have all been touched by Cancer and want it GONE!

Big shout out to the organizer Kate, for putting on an amazing night and for trusting me with the flowers 💐
