It has been way too long since I posted last and I should have done so sooner.
Due to emergencies within the family and chronic health issues, I decided to give baking a break. Unfortunately we won’t be making any more cakes in the future but we wanted to thank the kind people who supported beba bakes/ sugar mummas and specifically the sweet tooth’s who purchased our goods. It was a wonderful two years of creating and meeting lovely people local and otherwise. I am grateful for the chance to embrace one of my passions and bring people joy with food.
To go from creating meals and sugar loaded desserts at home for friends and family to feeding hundreds of strangers was wild. It is a unique experience, starting a business that is built from passion and I surely felt everything during those two years.
Sugar mummas was only ever meant to be a small chapter of my life while my daughter was young and life closed that door before I had the chance to take things further. I am grateful for the opportunities it provided our family and to be honest, I’m grateful I no longer have to wake up at three am every weekend to decorate hundreds of cakes.
It has been a privilege baking for you all, so thankyou.
And don’t worry, I will be posting my recipes within the next month when I have the time, so you may create your own delicious treats at home.
