This stunning day was filled with so many sweet treasures.
The theme Dolce Vita was achieved in a way of relaxed lounge spaces, Italian themed grazing table, limoncello spritz and stunning rustic florals.
Soft music wafted through the outdoor space as the bride and groom mingled with their guests during cocktail hour before leading into an evening of wood fired pizzas and dancing.

You probably haven’t had anything substantial to eat in a while, it’s a busy day!
So while your guests are happily enjoying the canapés you perfectly selected, make sure someone like your coordinator, is bring you some substance too. Don’t miss out on those tasty starters that you have paid for!
Plus it might be still a few hours until dinner is served and you need the energy because it’s a big day!

Though this is shot in the UK, I can definitely see the similarities for our beautiful forests around Warburton and Sassafras areas.
A trend for the tables~ “gardenscape” is in and I adore this theme!
It’s the placement of florals in either individual or small arrangements,placed the whole way along the reception tables, giving the illusion of sitting in a garden with flowers all around.
If you are doing a seated reception, your guests on average will spend around 3-4 hours sitting.
Let them enjoy the evening being surrounded by beautiful blooms!

I gave the florist a photo of a sunset captured from our back deck for inspiration, enjoying the sunset is something my husband and I do often so I wanted that captured. Plus also - bulk colour which everyone loves!
My husband wearing Navy blue and my bridesmaid in sky blue was also a connection to the sunset, it was also a nod to my time in the Navy.
My husband has on a tie with tiny deer heads, due to his love of outdoors and hunting.
I’m wearing earrings of a star and moon, something we used to sign our cards to each other with 🌙⭐️
While a lot of these are not obvious to our friends and family, it was special to us to include these small yet intimate details 🤍

Not typical to most modern weddings where a high arch is usually the ceremony masterpiece.
Here we didn’t want to hide any part of the stunning rolling hills view.
A half moon arbour was the perfect use of the space on the garden deck, bringing intimacy without distraction.
A significant focal point is great way to draw in the eye of the audience without spending each dollars on extra florals/decor thinking you will need to “fill” the space.

I’m a big fan of alternatives, going against what majority does and do something more unique to you. From larger segments like the ceremony order or decor to the smaller intimate touches like a guestbook.
