What does a bridesmaid mean to us? A bridesmaid is more than someone helping you alongisde your wedding day. Sometimes they're the person you grew up with, learned about the world alongside with. Sometimes they're the person that stepped into your life that when you started talking and you both thought “where have you been all my life!?”.

Sometimes they’re the person who's going to hold your hand in the car before you get there and calm you’re nerves, the person who will help you say 'yes' to your dress, the person who sits there for hours cutting out decorations with you, the person who probably encouraged the moments that became crazy stories.

Sometimes they’re you’re sisters, brothers, school friends, people you met at work, uni, through your partner.

But at the end of the day they’re the person you know you can turn to for anything not just on your wedding day, but in life. The ones who are going to take those first steps down the aisle before you, knowing behind them is their friend who's life is about to change in so many beautiful ways.

What a beautiful weekend we have just had. Will and I flew down to the Hunter Valley in NSW to capture Angus + Leticia’s beautiful winery wedding. Can we just say, we were in awe of some of the beautiful landscapes that NSW get to enjoy!

From the long stretches of vineyards that seemed to go on forever, to the old architectural buildings nestled on the properties we drove by, there was something so beautiful about the Hunter Valley that served as a stunning backdrop for Leticia and Angus’s wedding. We will definitely need to plan a visit again soon!

We loved capturing Leticia and Angus on what was such a beautiful, love filled day shared amongst family and friends. 🤍

Janet, Jeremy, and their two twin boys Harlen and Cody travelled down from Bundaberg on a Sunday afternoon for an engagement shoot with us near Mount Coolum. This was our first time at this spot and we just loved how it looked in the evening sun!

Some runs on the beach (or crawls for the little ones) later and we ended up with these little moments with family captured.

Jules and Clem, your wedding really was just everything.

After every wedding, Will and I leave just feeling so buzzed (yes, even after 12 hour days, that’s just how good weddings make you feel!)

On the drive home we always chat about the best parts of the day, what we loved, what made us feel things etc.

On the way home from Jules and Clem’s wedding, we couldn’t stop talking about how this wedding reminded us how much we love working with our couples and how we just feel so welcomed into their family and friendship groups.

Jules and Clem’s wedding was one of those days that remind us why we love our job. We’ll never forget having a mini rave to “Trot” in their photo session, or the beautiful letters Jules and Clem had written each other, or the feeling we had when they walked into their sparkler first dance and how magical it looked.

We just loved this day so much and can’t wait to share the rest 🤍
