I feel so blessed that brides trust me to play a part in their day by proving their florals. Just wanted to share one of two stunning wine barrel pieces I made for a bride these past few weeks. I’ll reply ASAP! If you’re waiting for me to reply to you in fb messages I’m sorry Facebook/messenger/ meta business is having issues at the moment and is not allowing me to reply. Any of my business friends having the same issues? Seems to have started 5 days ago with the update to the IOS app. 😭 first it was I couldn’t reply as a voice message and now it won’t reply to your messages via text either. Very frustrating!!!

Every time I meet with a bride they are always amazed at just how real our florals look. Comments like “Wow, I can’t believe these flowers look real like the ones in the garden” or “oh are these real? I wanted artificial” or “I can’t believe they even feel real when I touch them” The reason for this is we use only the highest quality artificial artificial florals and specialise in “real touch” florals.
Did you know before you pay your deposit, you will get to see feel and touch the florals & we will even do a mock up together to get the concept of what you are after. Last week I had a phone call from a bride with a rush order of flowers for her wedding! In fact she rang me on Monday and needed her florals by Thursday!! So we made an appointment for the same afternoon & then I set to work. One Bridal bouquet, 3 vases for tables, 2 cake florals & lots of single roses with ribbon for her guest to take home.

At Floral Elegance we get that our brides are busy with life… work, family, study and more. Then add to this wedding planning! Yesterday I met up with the beautiful Sam. She is getting married in November and I wanted her to be able to see her bridal florals coming together before her special day. When I spoke to Sam in our phone consult she had a very special request. In honour of her late sister she wanted a gerbera included in her florals somewhere. I’m not going to show you her florals just yet, but what I will say is that Sam was in love with them, how real they looked & the way they seamlessly worked in with her other chosen florals.

No it’s not wedding florals, but I feel blessed to be able to help at such short notice. Last night I created this beautiful floral arrangement for a family to take to a loved one in hospital. Being a public holiday here today means there aren’t too many places open so they reached out to me last night to create something. When I first spoke to Christine on the phone about her upcoming wedding the brief was simple. She wanted sunflowers that looked real and she didn’t want any other flowers that would take away from the sunflowers. She wanted a large arbour piece as well as flowers for herself and the bridal party. We soon caught up for a face to face and Christine fell in love with the real touch sunflowers I had ordered in for her wedding. If fact she loved them so much she decided she wanted small ones for matching buttonholes. I let her know that they didn’t make small sunflowers that were real touch and she’d have to trust me on this one. Christine was happy to let me play and I set about creating small ones from the big sunflowers… and wow, they looked amazing! Can’t wait to see all your photos from your day the Christine.

What does a floral consult look like?
First of all we start with a phone call. We will have a chat about your upcoming wedding or elopement. We’ll discuss things like how many people are in the bridal party, whether you are getting married indoors or outdoors. Your wedding date and time frames. It’s a time for you to describe your vision and style and to flick me all those inspo pics I know you’ve been saving! 😉 (that’s if you haven’t already) I’ll ask you questions like would you like extra flowers for an arbour, the aisle entrance or other feature arrangements. Maybe you need an extra corsage / buttonhole for the grandparents. It’s also a great time to let me know if you have a budget in mind.
Once I’ve got a good idea of your colours, style and the overall direction we will book in a face to face consult. (It’s more of a casual catch up) At this consult you’ll get to see the flowers and foliage that suit your style and make sure we are on the same page. At this point we can add things in or change things up. We will also be able to chat in more detail about pricing based on your specific requirements. Once you’re happy with the overall direction & vision, I’ll get some paperwork to you. Once the deposit is paid you can sit back and relax as the rest is on me.
As I go about creating your wedding floral dreams I’ll be sure to keep you in the loop and we can even book another catch up for a sneak peek before completion, if that’s what you’d like. 💕 I can’t wait to work with you to create your wedding florals ~ Naomi x
