Sarah was about twelve or thirteen when she first met Kobi.

You see, growing up Sarah was best friends with a sweet, lovely girl named Grace. And, lovely Grace? Well, she happened to have an older brother, whose best friend was Kobi.

So, for practically as long as Sarah can remember, whenever she’d go hang out at Grace’s house, Kobi was always there too.

Sarah would giggle and call him “Grace’s brother’s super-hot friend.”

For years, that’s all Kobi was to her. The pair would continually cross paths making not much more then small talk — until one day, Grace stepped in and played matchmaker with a line that went like this….

“Kobi, do you actually want a girlfriend? Because Sarah needs a boyfriend.”

And, well… with a massive thanks to Grace and her bold intervention, Sarah and Kobi did actually go on to become boyfriend and girlfriend! Then after five fun years together and an ocean side proposal… they became husband and wife!!! Yay!!!

It was such a joy for me to be their celebrant at such a special spot to them and their families . Their ceremony questionnaire was legitimately the most hilarious and wonderfully chaotic one I’ve ever received back.

Never change! 😂 And congrats again Mr & Mrs Wilson! 👰🏼‍♀️

From schoolyard touch footy to finding forever 💫

Emma and Fraser first crossed paths playing footy for their schools and towns—just two kids who clicked without knowing what the future had in store. Life moved on, as it does… until their paths crossed again in 2020. And this time, something truly special began.

For Emma, the soft spot she’d had for Fraser never really went away. When they reconnected, she found he was still the same down-to-earth, fun, and charming guy she remembered. A weekend in Coolah meeting his family sealed it—she knew he was the one.

For Fraser, it was a quiet night in Bigga, sitting on his bed talking with Emma, when it hit him, that he really did love her.

Married at the iconic Cobbora Hall, they had a ridiculously funky and fun time becoming husband and wife. Congratulations 👰🏻‍♀️

Narromine really turned on the sunshine as these two said I do on Saturday ☀️

Having grown up in the same town and attended the same school, Britt and Coz were always around each other. As the years went on, they accumulated more and more mutual friends and and would continually find themselves at the same local parties, the same music festivals, and even at the same random clubs over in Newcastle. 🥳

They both say that as they got older, they would always tend to gravitate towards each other… and with thanks to that, they are now — MARRIED! 💍

So glad I got to be apart of it all. 🥰 Congratulations again! 👰🏼‍♀️

Last Saturday was for Gabi & Jake 🕊️

What started with a crush on the girl next door — and a best friend armed with a cheeky Christmas card — became a day filled with love, laughter, and the most beautiful celebration at Gabi’s family’s private property.

From neighbours in Newcastle to newlyweds in Narromine, Gabi & Jake are two beautiful souls with kind hearts, gentle spirits, and so much love that could be felt by everyone around them.

Top-tier things that made Liv & Ebbie’s wedding elite:

1. Scheduled around footy finals.
Liv & Ebbie opened their ceremony by letting everyone know that their wedding date was strategically planned around not 1, but 2 central west footy comps. Yep the Walgett Rams and Narromine Gorillas’ footy season schedules were taken into full consideration when planning their wedding date over 12 months in advance, to purposely avoid clashes with Grand Finals and Silly Sundays so that no one had to miss out or show up worse for wear. Priorities = correct. 🏉💅

2. A personalised poem that started with beers and ended in cheers.
Written and delivered by a dear mate, it was funny, heartfelt, and all about Liv & Ebbie and their love story. It was also the best follow-up to the footy acknowledgement and had the crowd laughing, not crying — just how they wanted it. Vibe = 11/10. 🎤🍻

3. Vows decided by vodka roulette.
When it came time for them to read their vows to each other, Nonna stepped up with two shot glasses like an absolute queen to help them decided who would go first. One contained water and the other one vodka. Nobody knew which was which until it hit. Ebbie pulled the vodka and as a result, read his vows first. This provided peak comedy and involving Nonna was iconic. 🥃😂

For these two it all began in a very unassuming setting… Cass was at work when Jason walked in looking for bearings…

Even if bearings were all Jason physically left with on that day, their brief encounter had sparked the start of something more...

On the sixth of September, the first Saturday of Spring — with sunshine, blue skies, big smiles, and even bigger love — these two said I do and officially became husband and wife.

Lil & Dyl 🕊️

A simple yet sweet ceremony, with family interwoven into every special moment - the perfect start to their two-day wed fest.

Lil & Dyl are two deeply adored humans with impeccable style and their wedding was them to a tee.

Hosted at Dundullimal Homestead it was one of the most divine weddings in the Dubbo region.

If Vogue Bridal ever did a regional cover photo number 2 would be on the front for sure! But I had to make photo number 1 my cover, as I can’t get over the way both Dyl & I were looking at Lil as she walked down the aisle! 😍

Celebrant is the answer! But my style is to feel like a guest — someone who fits right in, mimics your energy, and brings a calm, comfortable presence to your day.
Yes I do stand up the front of the alter, but my aim isn’t to stand out. It’s to blend in, bounce of your style, reflect your intentions and to let your personalities and story shine above and beyond all.
Here I am with Jack and Loz — one of the very first couples to book me. Two and a half years later, I got the call-up as celebrant for another of their family’s weddings.
Marriage celebrant? Yep.
But also a friend and familiar face for life.
