WHAT ARE THE CHANCES!
6 years ago today, I married my stunning wife on the day of our 10th Anniversary in what was Moravia Park 1st ever wedding. Shout out to the legendary celebrant Monty King - Celebrant

Today I have the privelledge to be back at Moravia Park on the very same day, being the one to marry 2 absolutely beautiful people on THEIR 10TH ANNIVERSARY!

This one is absolutely meant to be and I cannot wait!!

Liam & Gabbie ❤️👇
From hallway High 5’s at Irrawang High to heartfelt vows in front of their beautiful kids and loved ones, Gabbie and Liam’s journey is nothing short of legendary & bloody meant to be! ❤️

It all started with a young Gabbie walking through a crowded high school corridor, only to be stopped by the biggest Islander in the joint- Liam with his huge outstretched hand for an unexpected high-five. From there, a tradition was born—one high-five turned into countless more, each louder and more meaningful than the last.

What started as cheeky hand slaps between classes, evolved through teenage sneaky sleepovers (sorry, Mum 😉), and then grew into a beautiful life together. By 19, they turned a house into a home, and soon, Mum & Dad were their proudest titles, thanks to Amara and Elias. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Not only did they prove the doubters of teenage romance wrong! They are proof that a solid foundation can build the most solid futures!

Liam proposed at a place close to his heart in New Zealand, and although things didn’t go exactly as planned at first…. It wasn’t long before they stood overlooking stunning cliffs of Cathedral Cove. With his heart in his hand, Liam then asked the love of his life to be his forever—and Gabbie of course said yes! 💍

So…. On a beautiful day at the freaking STUNNING Moravia Park, Gabbie & Liam had an absolute cracking wedding full of culture, banging dance floors, tears, laughter and family! It was an absolute HONOUR and PRIVELEGE to be a part of this one!!!

To Gabbie & Liam—, two incredible humans whose love inspires everyone around them. May your future be filled with renovations (that actually get finished), Samoa adventures, and a lifetime of high-fives. 🖐️❤️

So bloody grateful to do what I do—and to have the world’s best cheer squad behind me!

Tonight, I was honored to win in both the Civil Celebrant and Master of Ceremonies categories at the Newcastle and Hunter Valley Wedding Industry Awards.

To the absolute legends who trust me to bring their ceremonies to life and crank up the vibes for their receptions on the biggest day of their lives—THANK YOU! 😍 Your belief in me is humbling, and I’m forever appreciative.

A massive shout-out to the incredible vendors, venues, and industry pros I get to call my colleagues and weekend family. Your recommendations connect me with the best couples ever!

And my biggest shout out goes to my beautiful wife, Alyse, who holds down the fort like the super mum she is while I’m working or spending late nights writing ceremony scripts.

Lastly—and I may be biased—I have the absolute best cheerleaders ever, and I couldn’t do it without them. Thank you all! 🙌

Turn it up for the Turners—Scott & Casey❤️👇
Once upon a time, the world was locked down, trackies were a fashion statement, and love stories began in the most unexpected ways.

Scott & Casey—2 souls who had crossed each others paths for years but hadn’t quite found their moment. That is…until a global pandemic and a little blue Messenger icon changed everything.

It all started with Casey, in her PJs, hand in stitches, feeling sorry for herself…and Scott, like a knight in shining armour- rocking his finest trackies and flanno, tapping on her door for their first “date”.

It likely wasn’t glamorous, but it was unforgettable!

Hours of laughing, chatting, and just 'being real' sealed the deal—

2 people, completely themselves, finding something extraordinary.

From that rainy night, Scott never left (literally—three days later, they were inseparable).

Fast forward to camping trips, buying a house, pool installations, and blending their beautiful families. Together, they tackled every challenge with laughter, love, and a lot of cheese and wine nights.

Scott fell for Casey’s selflessness, kindness, and incredible heart—not to mention her way of making him feel like he could love again. And Casey? She was smitten with Scott’s kind eyes, hardworking nature, and the way he could make her laugh, even on tough days.

The proposal is an absolute Scott Classic! He popped the question at the top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge… only to have the Fun Police (or Harbour Security) confiscate the ring! A little smooth-talking and a second attempt later, Casey said YES, and the rest is history. 💍

At my fave venue surrounded by their incredible family and friends- Scott and Casey cried, danced and proved that all it takes is a little courage, a lot of laughter, and the help of messenger!

HERE ARE THE HEWLETTS!!! Matt & Mel ❤️👇
Two singles, amidst a time full of facemasks, social distancing and toilet paper battles, found themselves scrolling socials.... For Matt, one scroll led to the most stunning "People You May Know" suggestion he'd ever seen—Mel!

With a cupids nudge from the algorithm, Matt clicked "Add Friend." Perfect....almost!!! Mel's first thought? "Who is this guy stalking me?" 😅
But after a quick stalk back.. and liking what she saw...she accepted.

Soon, inbox banter turned into endless texts and phone calls that unknowingly changed their lives forever.

Truth be told... It wasn’t all smooth sailing...Matt organised their 1st in person date.... only for Mel to cancel.... not once..... but FOUR TIMES 😅

Matt however was determined. He lined up a midweek plan and even offered to pick her up…so she couldn’t cancel. (Take note, fellas 😉)

The moment Mel got in Matt’s car, it was clear—this wasn’t just another date. No awkward silences, no small talk—just instant connection. From that day on, they were inseparable.

Mel fell for Matt’s blue eyes, his direction in life, and his love and devotion to his kids. Matt adored Mel’s authenticity, encouragement, and the incredible mother she was—making him feel like the best version of himself.

Six months in, a trip to Fraser Island sealed the deal. Surrounded by sunsets, full moons, and the same 6 songs on repeat due to no phone signal, Matt and Mel realised they weren’t just in love—they were building a family.

Brad & Maddy.. What an absolute bloody honor! I have been dying to share this one! When I got married, I was lucky enough to have my best mate, B-RAD, right by my side as my best man. So, you can imagine how stoked I was when he asked me to return the favor… only this time, I got to pull double duty as both Best Man and Celebrant! 🥹

Watching my best mate marry the stunning Maddy—the love of his life, the incredible mother of his pride and joy Ruby, and the woman of his dreams—was a moment I’ll treasure forever.

Like most, these two modern romantics swiped RIGHT into each other’s lives on Tinder, and while Brad admits they’ve now had years to come up with a more subtle “how we met” story, he’s also the first to say: Tinder brought him his forever love, his beautiful Ruby, and he’d do it all again in a heartbeat. ❤️

Their first date? Pure Brad. Maddy was treated to a combo of ten-pin bowling 🎳 and the finest Chinese Charlestown’s Westfield food court had to offer. 😂 But despite the cuisine… these two hit it off and never looked back.

Fast forward through endless laughs, life’s milestones, and the arrival of their gorgeous daughter Ruby, and it’s clear these two were meant to be.

Brad has found someone who pushes him to grow as a person, partner, and father, while Maddy has found in Brad the most genuine bloke you’ll ever meet—someone who would give anything for the people he loves.

To 2 of my favourite people in the world! Thanks for allowing me to be a part of your day but more importantly your future and I love you guys! 💕

HERE ARE THE HUSSAINS- Ash & Ali 💍❤️👇
Love, it’s beautiful, a little wild, unpredictable, & a LOT of FUN! — just like Ash & Ali!

Their first date? 100% NOT your average fairytale! Forget candlelit dinners, these 2 had a 1st date at…… Morpeth Cups & Crepes 🤣 followed by….. wait for it!!!! a stroll through an op shop to check out old baby dolls.

Odd? A little. Memorable? Absolutely!
Truth is- these 2 beautiful people inside and out just didn’t want the date to end!

Ali left an impression so bloody memorable that this first catch up for coffee….. ended a crazy FOUR HOURS later, with Ashl telling mum, “I’m going to marry him.”……& once again Ali…. Ash was RIGHT!

From that day, Ali & Ash have been inseparable. Ali started finding every excuse to ditch base at Williamtown, and Ash found her ❤️ fuller than she ever imagined.

Whether it was late-night chats, Rubik’s cube obsessions, or building swing sets (without swearing—what a man!), these 2 quickly became and have remained each other’s everything.

So after navigating camping trips, Fertility journeys, and even a burst pipe thanks to a rogue stud finder—Ash and Ali have built a life full of love, laughter, and grit.

They’ve weathered storms, celebrated victories, and created a beautiful family!

So- during a Valentine’s dinner, joined by their kids, Ali dropped to one knee and popped the question a million times sweeter than any desert!

Ash & Ali, you are a perfect match—the steady calm to life’s chaos.

Work mates, to soul mates, now....
MR & MRS PETTIT 😍 Jess & Adam 💍❤️

What a bloody privilege to be a part of Jess and Adms Ceremony and epic reception! 🔥

Two beautiful people inside and out- who stood hand in hand at the stunning Riverwood Downs, surrounded by family, friends, and enough love to light up the entire Upper Hunter Valley.

Jess first noticed Adam at Komatsu, His good looks—his cheeky humor and sharp witt soon had her heart doing backflips.

For Adam? He recalls the moment that Jess turned, locked eyes with his gaze, rocking her braids and THAT stunning smile....and instantly recalls his inner voice screaming, “Uh oh!”...💥 a phase that regularly repeated itself when he was continuously blown away!

Fast forward- from renovating houses to fast cars, coaching soccer, conquering epic road trips, and overseas travel, these two have built a life full of love, laughter, and adventure.

And the cherry on top? Adam popping the question in a Grand Canyon helicopter with a selfie cam, scuffed boots, and the most gorgeous ring Jess had ever seen!

This was an incredible ceremony, that lead to an even better reception full of laughs, and good times!

Ethan & Sarah! ❤️👇
Finally, The Melvilles Are Married!
Ethan & Sarah’s journey has got everything—high school near misses, long-distance curve balls, and even a Navy enlistment bombshell! 🚢😉

Despite going to the same high school, these two waited until they had left to even talk to each other…. And what started with mutual friends, a few house parties- and a few cheeky inbox messages…… lead to a connection that would have Sarah and Ethan standing in front of their beautiful daughter Cleo, friends and family in the Hunter Valley- 10 years later saying I DO to a future together as husband and wife!. ❤️

When asking the penny drop moment! Ethan vividly remembers Sarah descending the stairs at her birthday party in a jaw-dropping red dress—the moment he knew this was something incredibly special.

For Sarah, it was those eyes, Ethan’s cheeky smile and he’s sweet and charming words that had her hooked (even second-guessing her decision to join the Navy after meeting him).

Distance wasn’t about to stop these two. Ethan made it clear early on—he’d visit Sarah every weekend he could, proving that love conquers all, even an 8-year long-distance relationship! 🌏✈️

Through the highest of highs, deployments, health scares and challenges- Ethan and Sarah have built a love for each other and their family that sets an incredible example of what a loving family is.

Ethan adores Sarah’s selflessness and the mum she is to Cleo, while Sarah loves Ethan’s calming presence, he’s hard work ethic and fact he is always willing to drop everything and ensure that she is his number 1 priority!
Together, they’ve created a life full of laughter, trust, and 30-minute hiccup episodes. 🤣💞

You know you found your soul mate when they look at you the way Abbie is looking at Zac- WOW 🔥

Love, Laughter, & Body Rolls!! 🤣👇
When it comes to love, sometimes the path to forever isn't always a straight line… but makes for one hell of a fun story!

Zac and Abbie's journey is exactly this!
Whilst it started with a few right swipes… both Abbie and Zac had a chat that after an initial spark fizzled out……🫣
Until the universe had other plans, bringing them back together just six months later at LOVE CENTRAL!!! Or…. KING ST HOTEL!!! 😆🙌

After a bit of liquid courage!..... A packed sweat ridden DFLOOR was the perfect backdrop…..Abbie spotted Zac, recognizing him from their almost Tinder connection! With bravery- she headed over and hit him with one of the most iconic pick-up lines of all time: “Do I KNOW YOU?”.............. It worked!

From there, they spent the night laughing, dancing, and sharing way too many body rolls from Zac. 😎 Something he still keeps up to this day whenever they get a chance to let their hair down!

Fast forward to today, and Zac and Abbie share a love of adventure, laughter, and of course, their fur babies, Goose & Bella. 🐕 🐕

Their bond has been tested through uni struggles, career hurdles, and a whole lot of chaos... but their love has grown stronger than either could imagine!

Resilience has been built from surviving stressful assignments together or dealing with vet trips caused by chewed-up socks,…. Yet- they have built a foundation of trust, support, and having each others back!

Zac loves Abbiei’s giving nature and her heart of gold, while Abi treasures Zac’s fun-loving spirit and calming influence.

Zac & Abbie, it has been a pleasure to be part of your love story today. Your journey together has been nothing short of heartfelt and a good bloody laugh!

Alanah & Tim 🫶
Insta Stalks, Digital Tag, Dogs, Fake Injuries & Forever After!

Who knew a cheeky Instagram stalk, a love for dogs & a “like for like” game of digital tag would end with TIMBOWDEN80 & AJDAILZ standing in front of their beautiful friends and fam at the stunning Hunter Valley saying I DO to a future together as husband and wife!

From their first in-person chat, to realizing they shared not just a love of dogs but values, family, and a knack for making each other laugh, these two legends have been inseparable ever since.

Fast forward through overcoming health challenges, sneaky lockdown LGA Laws, and countless adventures together, they’ve built a life of love, resilience, and way too many camping trips and stories to count.

When it was time to propose- Tim took Alanah on a quiet bushwalk……..well, until the weekly Park Run showed up!!!
Tim had to improvise and he even bunged on a knee injury before he found the perfect spot to drop to one miraculously recovered knee, leaving Alanah in tears of joy as she said yes.

Tim & Alanah, it wasn’t just a bloody honor to share your day- but to meet you both! From the first coffee and catchup together- you 2 have been the most lovely, polite, hardworking, easy going and grateful DREAM couple I could possibly have the privileges of marrying!!!

Your wedding day was stunning, you navigated weather dramas with a smile and not once did you both lose the core focus of the day! EACH OTHER!

Your guests bought the vibe and I go to work at an amazing venue with incredible vendors! Pics and the lasting memories of this one will forever be as beautiful as you pair!
