Ok, well we all know there’s 3 sides to every story.
This woman came up asking for a song… I didn’t have it. She then continued to argue the point with me, pulled out her phone, searched up the song and said “this one”
I again said “I know the song but I don’t have it sorry”.
She then continued further more to verbally assault me, with words to the effect of “what kind of f**king DJ are you if you don’t have every song? You’re f**ked! Just plug my phone in, you’re a f**king stupid DJ” and layed her hands on me.
So I stopped the music and told her to get off the stage.
I then said to everyone over the mic “yes I am a DJ and yes I can take requests, but don’t you dare yell and abuse me if I don’t have the song you’re asking for. It’s impossible for me to have every song that exists. Thankyou”
The lady then came back up to the stage furthermore verbally assaulting me and calling me a “f**king cunt, your a cunt of a DJ, you can get f**ked you stupid cunt, f**k you you cunt”
I proceeded to stop the music again and told the venue I was not here to get abused by drunk and disorderly patrons, I’m here entertaining the crowd when I could be at home with my 7 month old and 2 older children. I could be at home with my sick husband who currently has pneumonia.
After some effort, the lady was removed and I then continue to play for the remainder of the evening as I did have some very lovely and respectful patrons ask kindly that I stay.
I have now been provided with evidence of slander and I shall be reporting this to authorities and taking action as this lady is now slandering my business and using my logo in a slandering manner as her social media profile picture.
Thankyou to the person who shared this evidence with me. I will be taking this matter further.

about 24 months ago, I started to learn the basic techniques of transitioning. it was a little tricky to wrap my head around it all at first, but after a lot of practice, it started to become easier. prior to this, i had brought myself a tiny little set of “virtual dj” decks which had no mids! i know, shocking right! but i had no idea what i was doing. a few weeks of using these little guys, had me thirsty for more. all i knew was that i needed to bring music back in to my life after i’d stopped dancing. it wasn't until i was finally able to see DJ Tigerlily live that I’d said to myself, “i want to perform like her” and thats where my story began. from there, i found myself a booking agent who has been working side by side with myself to book shows throughout NSW.
i’ve now been professionally DJing for a little over 18 months and I've been feeling so much love and support from everyone around me and at my shows, i can't get enough of it! every day I'm doing something to help kick goals and push boundaries. i mix at home, connect with people on social media, book shows, expand my #allpinkeverything brand, business meetings, marketing. its tough! and I'm far from great at the this “business” stuff, but I'm excelling at mixing and engaging the crowd! i can't begin to explain how ecstatic my job makes me.
my current goal is to keep building my family, my #lusharmy ! if it weren't for the constant support from all of you, i wouldn't have gotten to where i am this quickly. so, THANKYOU!! you all mean so so much to me and i can't wait to meet you all at my shows (if i haven't already met you). remember, you can do anything you set your mind too. don't let anyone tell you different. kick ass !
