Music is within me
🎶
Music has always been a part of my life. I grew up as a dancer so I became familiar with musicality quite young. Whilst dancing on stage, I could literally feel the music. Each bone and muscle in my body would vibrate, my heart would beat to the sound of the bass. My body flowed through the waveforms and my soul flourished with joy. Each moment spent dancing was a moment of pure happiness.

After falling pregnant 6 years ago, I had to make one of the hardest decisions of my life, to give up what I loved to make room for more love, my beautiful daughter 💗 I had chosen at that moment, to be her mother. To love and protect her, to give everything I could so she can live the most perfect life.

I absolutely love my daughter and would never change the past, but there was always something missing.
Music. 🎵🎶
At this stage, I’d moved to Dubbo and saw DJ Tigerlily play at the Amaroo hotel, and it was in that moment that I knew, I had to pursue music again. So, I decided I’d turn my passion in to something that I’d never done before. I begun to teach myself how to DJ and I fell in love all over again with music! My heart was complete once more. I love my job and being able to share my love with my 🎧 my daughter and my loving partner by my side. is going strong and I don’t want to miss a beat! My life is whole, my heart is full, my love is strong.

It’s that time of year again! But instead of just pushups, I’m doing a combo with squats (having a baby changes things a little for ya 😬) my physio has given me the all clear for “light training” so I’ll surely do my best!

The weather is heating up and I’m getting even more pregnant as the days go by… I’ll be 33 weeks this Saturday!!
Baby luscious is due in February and I’ve already had to turn down a bunch of bookings due to already filling up fast for 2024!!
I’ll be back behind the decks from April 2024!
I have VERY LIMITED dates left between April and December!
What a fantastic feeling to already be almost completely booked for 2024 before the year has really kicked off.

about 24 months ago, I started to learn the basic techniques of transitioning. it was a little tricky to wrap my head around it all at first, but after a lot of practice, it started to become easier. prior to this, i had brought myself a tiny little set of “virtual dj” decks which had no mids! i know, shocking right! but i had no idea what i was doing. a few weeks of using these little guys, had me thirsty for more. all i knew was that i needed to bring music back in to my life after i’d stopped dancing. it wasn't until i was finally able to see DJ Tigerlily live that I’d said to myself, “i want to perform like her” and thats where my story began. from there, i found myself a booking agent who has been working side by side with myself to book shows throughout NSW.
i’ve now been professionally DJing for a little over 18 months and I've been feeling so much love and support from everyone around me and at my shows, i can't get enough of it! every day I'm doing something to help kick goals and push boundaries. i mix at home, connect with people on social media, book shows, expand my #allpinkeverything brand, business meetings, marketing. its tough! and I'm far from great at the this “business” stuff, but I'm excelling at mixing and engaging the crowd! i can't begin to explain how ecstatic my job makes me.
my current goal is to keep building my family, my #lusharmy ! if it weren't for the constant support from all of you, i wouldn't have gotten to where i am this quickly. so, THANKYOU!! you all mean so so much to me and i can't wait to meet you all at my shows (if i haven't already met you). remember, you can do anything you set your mind too. don't let anyone tell you different. kick ass !
