Ah… just while I’m in the throes of rearranging weddings (again), there was this little pearler from last year!
We were all a little anxious waiting for Maddy to arrive, with the chapel was overflowing with capacity, a handfull of people would have missed the whole thing, seeing the bride, and the groom and the whole ceremony due to the Covid restriction.
Maddy arrived, she spoke to Belinda and myself.
She asked what we thought and after a moment her response was,
'f*** it, we've come this far, let's get married in the rain!'
And let me tell you, it was the best damn rainy wedding day, and ceremony I could have imagined!
