Oh, Mr and Mrs S! You made my heart sing!

The air almost shimmered between these two gorgeous humans as they stood on the shores of Dove Lake and made their simple, heartfelt vows of forever.

Their genuine love, respect and joy for eachother was plain to see in their smile, in their eyes and in their touch. They were vibrant! Shining! Joyous!

A handful of walkers had the unexpected delight of witnessing their vows and looked on silently, respectfully, big smiles on their faces and in their hearts for the joyful surprise.

For Ingrid and Peter, a simple Tassie elopement at one of the most iconic corners of the planet was the perfect start to their Adventure 🥰

Fun, fresh and freaking fabulous!
Hannah and Stav got hitched at the gorgeous Red Feather Inn with a wedding that celebrated friends, family and food!

There were plenty of laughs, a little improv, a decent helping of tears and a whole lotta lurve. The vino was flowing, the mezze plates were incredible and the party crew were set to dance up a storm.

And a bonus for me, I got the buzz of squeezing a couple of old friends, Hannah and her gorgeous mum Kaye 🧡

Congratulations Hannah and Stav! You guys rock!

These love cats ditched the "elephants, white drives and celestial choir" and instead flew to Tassie for a simple elopement under Mount Roland.

Sweet, simple and heartfelt, they live streamed the ceremony to their loved ones and followed their vows with their first dance.

Married

At some weddings we hear the tales of epic love stories, yesterdays was one of those. We felt it in every fibre of our being and as we partied through out the night with their vibed up guests we realised we were at one of those weddings that we will remember for the rest of our days.

Von & Moey started their day separately preparing in terrible weather. It was pouring and absolutely miserable. Surrounded by close friends and family they readied themselves for the celebration of a lifetime. The moment Von walked down the aisle and locked eyes with Moey the air thickened and the love was felt by all. Celebrant Sarah (Rooks) told the story of their epic love tale, tears were shed and the guests erupted into sounds of cheers and celebration. It was absolutely perfect.

We escaped early with the newly weds for some private portraits at their beautiful (and nature filled) property. The love was in full swing, the smooches were hard and private. It just concreted how perfect this day was for all. Roaming through paddocks with goats, up a floral lined laneway and through a natural fern forest we were spoiled with choices for portraits. Creativity was high.

After a couple of beers and much needed down time we all headed back to the property their festival styled reception was held and met up with the bridal party for some beautiful moments and of course loads of laughs because thats how we roll.

Live music filled the valley and the stars shone bright above the fairy lights as we snacked on pizza and platter delights and danced the night away. The theatrical dancing ensued and people snuggled around firepots sharing tales and laughs, the chilly night air not affecting the mood. Heels were swapped for uggies and blunnies and black puffers were the uniform as singer Claire (Claire Ann Taylor) belted out ballads that filled your soul with goosebumps. Fireworks marked the celebration and the guests all gathered for a shared game of Giant Jenga drinking style, the laughs, OMG there was so many laughs.

At one stage, exhausted I retreated to a couch and was joined by an adorable shaggy red dog who decided he would like to snuggle. He kept me company before the next performer hit the stage with some epic electropop (?) psychedelic tunes that packed out the dance floor. They called him The Jedi (master?), I may have been mistaken but he had the guests in a dance trance which was epic to capture.

More sneak peeks will come through out the day, we are snuggled up on the couch watching serial killers after a massive 20 hour day and only a little sleep. I have got so much to share and so much to say.

It is definitely worth the $$$ to have us there for the entire celebrations.

Congrats to you Von & Moey. You are freaking amazing.

Ahh, Von and Mo! ❤🌟❤
Many years ago when a 15 year old Von next to an 17 year old Mo and thought he was the most handsome boy she'd ever seen, the stars aligned and a love story began...

These gorgeous kids said "I do!" at Mo's childhood home, with the rowdiest group of guests I've had the fun of working with!

There were cheers, tears and laughter and even a little good natured heckling.

They partied the night away and set of for their honeymoon - waking the Overland Track. Hopefully they'll miss the snow this time.

For Nick and Bianca, Sister's Beach will forever be a part of their story.

It was the site of their first date, memorable for ant filled banksias, scrambling up sand dunes and the kiss that started it all.

It's here they'll build their dream home and it was here they made their promises of forever and became husband and wife.

Congratulations Nick and Bianca! I wish you a million more happy memories made on this beach! Thank you for inviting me to take part in your day 🥂❤🌟

Hey friends.
Like many other industries, weddings have been absolutely smashed by Covid19.
It would make a massive difference to couples moving forward if we could just DANCE! (It feels a bit like Footloose, don't you think??).

So this happened! Thank you to everyone who voted!
I love love and I love that I get to celebrate it with so many amazing people ❤
And a massive shout out to all of the amazing wedding professionals out there! This industry in Tasmania (and the rest of the country too) is so supportive and talented. I'm honoured to be in such good company!

To avoid a repeat of last week's mid- ceremony dash to escape the downpour, Kayla and Declan to move their ceremony indoors.
Buscobel of Tasmania in West Ukraine looked amazing and easily fit almost 100 guests (although the wedding play of 11 in total were a little tight, we managed!).
