Thank you to SUAVE Productions for their donation of food and gift vouchers to our Homeless Hub. Suave Productions recently held a fundraising dance event that was supported by many community members. Thank you to all involved or those who danced the night away.

JENNY & ALVARO

Born in Chile, Alvaro Gonzales has been dancing Tango for over 20years. He has inspired audiences in both live tango performances and for film. His experience in dance also includes flamenco and ballet. He will be partnering with Jenny Asquith, a local passionate Tanguera from Kiama who is both a performer and a teacher of Tango..
Alvaro and Jenny enjoy dancing regularly at tango Festivals and Milongas (social tango dancing events) in Australia and abroad
Please don’t hesitate if you would like to engage them to perform at your event.

HOT OFF THE PRESS: Free Latin Dance Workshop by ANDREW YEO from CUBAN PASSION at Ulladulla

Andrew has a passion for music, rhythm and dance. In 1998 he was invited by mates to ballroom dancing at university taught by a couple who were on the cast of Strictly Ballroom. A year later another couple of friends said that they were going to a salsa class.

The sound of the clave and rhythm of the beat transported him to a place of pure joy, he was hooked and his life was changed forever. He fell in love with the rhythm, musicality and the ability to lose yourself in the Cuban flair.

Andrew is also known for his love of all the different forms of salsa ON1 or LA salsa, ON2 or New York Salsa/ Mambo, Cha Cha Cha and Son. He also has a love for Tango and West Coast Swing.

He has taught for Body Beat Dance Studio, Buena Vista Dance Academy, Latin Spirit Australia, and various salsa venues Sydney.

Andrew was a part of a professional dancer team as a dancer at many venues including La Bodeguita de Medio that later became The Cuban Place.
