Thank you, thank you, thank you! Black Dog Ride has generously donated the proceeds from Clementine 17's auction back to the Northcliffe Community for future projects which will help raise awareness of depression and su***de prevention.
Clementine 17 (a female cow) had a long journey before she ended back home in Northcliffe. Bannister Downs Dairy originally donated her to Black Dog Ride, the not-for-profit motorcycle-themed organisation which raises awareness of depression and su***de prevention. Clementine 17, (with her handler Peter Milton) attended WA Youth Cattle Camp then shows, mine sites, service clubs, men’s sheds schools and colleges raising awareness of depression and su***de prevention in the community. Clementine 17 was auctioned at Northcliffe's 100th celebrations by Colin Thexton of Independent Rural Agents, one of our sponsors. Sue Smeathers, a Northcliffe local purchased Clementine 17 for $3100. You may spot her in a paddock on Wheatley Coast Rd, Clementine that is, not Sue!

Thank you to the Northcliffe Community Resource Centre for all the panic printing they did for various groups leading up to the 100th celebrations. Graham said they 'had never been so busy' but was proud of what they accomplished, which included photos and boards for the Northcliffe Pioneer Museum, programs for the 100th committee and photos for the Stadium Memorabilia Display.

Congratulations Coastal Scottish Pipe Band 🥂 on third place at the Australian Pipe Band Championships. How lucky were we to have them at our 100th celebrations 🎉

3rd place 🥉
Pipe Major Hamish Cotton and Drum Sergeant John Christensen are proud as punch of the results. A well deserved result against some very stiff competition in Grade 3.

Congrats go out to City Of Melbourne Highland Pipe Band on 1st place 🥇 and City of Adelaide Pipe Band on 2nd place 🥈

Can’t wait to welcome the rest of the Pipe Bands Australia around the country to the nationals competition to be held in Perth WA in 2026 by Pipe Bands WA! 🎵🥁🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
