What a wild day of weather we had for Anna & Jason's Surfair wedding! Originally planned for a beautiful beachside ceremony, we created this gorgeous wet weather backup using our fairy light curtain backdrop, Bohemian Dream florals and plinths for our couple held in one of the function rooms at Surfair instead.

Just because you are on a budget doesn't mean you can't have a beautiful wedding!

It has almost been one year since I purchased the gorgeous florals & packages from Carol . I have had a long history of working in the wedding & event industry but one thing that I have always believed is that regardless of your budget, every couple can have a beautifully styled wedding.

That is why I have decided to change the structure of our services to allow for all couples to create a look that works within their budget. All of our items will be available for DIY hire, with the option of adding in our staff to set up and pack down as your 'other bridesmaid' for the day.

Have some of your own styling items already and just need a few finishing touches? No worries! Hire what you need and let us do the rest - we can bring your vision to life on the day letting your family and friends be fully present and enjoy your day with you.

Want an all inclusive package that you don't have to stress about? I've got you! All of our florals can still be hired as an all inclusive package including set up and pack down.

Let's talk Ceremony Spaces!

The focal point of your Ceremony, or essentially the 'space' where you and your fiance will stand can potentially be where a large portion of your styling budget is spent, but this doesn't have to be the case. It also stands as your main photography backdrop so there are a few styling choices to consider!

Depending on the type of venue you have chosen there are soooooo many unique ways you can style it, and of course ways that you can incorporate the setting itself which will help to save a little $$$.

Things to consider:
- is there already a stunning natural backdrop? If so, how can you frame it or draw your guests focus to a central point (think arbours or plinths)

- on the other hand, do you want to block the view? If not, why not opt for lower ground florals like a 'meadow' and rose petals, or define the space with some rugs or a sea of candles either side

- booked a garden space? You may choose to not have anything at all but the furniture (this is where you can spend a little more on gorgeous chairs) or if you are standing near a tree simply hang some lengths of soft chiffon to drape in the breeze and add that element of softness or colour

Let's talk Welcome Signage!

When discussing signage I always ask couples what they are going to do with it after the wedding. This is often something that they have not though about and I am met with the realisation that they do not want (or need) an stunning A1 sign sitting in the back of the cupboard gathering dust that has no real way to be re-purposed.

How can we solve this for you? We always has a way that can either minimise post-wedding wastage or create a product that can be repurposed and displayed as a keepsake. Oh, and did I mention it can often be budget friendly?

- Printed signage: use one of our sign backdrops and simply add in your personalised paper print to finish the look (as seen here). This minimises waste and can either be kept and folded into your keepsake box or recycled.

- Personalised printed foamboard that doubles as a piece for guests to sign, this can be framed and displayed in place of a traditional guest book!

- Use one of our standard welcome signs that is not personalised but still welcomes your guests to the party and can be transferred from Ceremony to Reception!

- Hire one of our welcome signs and we can simply add your names and date in removable vinyl
