As National Recycling Week comes to an end, meet 9yo Malani from Koala Family Adventures .

She is passionate about helping our koalas and has spent the last year getting the community involved in collecting 10c containers to raise money for Queensland Koala Crusaders .

We are a proud supporter of this initiative and have a collection bin on site for all our events. So far $687 has been raised for our furry friends!!! 🐨

So if you have any spare glass or eligible plastic bottles after your visit to our cafe, Malani’s green Containers for Change bin is located behind the cafe.

Or if you have anything at home, feel free to bring it in and pop it in the bin. Thank you for supporting us and Malani’s koala mission!

This Friday to Sunday, we will be offering a reduced menu as our main kitchen will be closed during a transitional period with our kitchen team.

However, we remain open for coffee and cakes, croissants & pastries and all our cafe savoury and sweet treats.

Introducing our new Regenerative Agriculture Coordinator Ryan.

Ryan has been with us for many years at our farm but new to this position.

We are passionate about regenerative agriculture and looking after our land and our planet so will be introducing all our educational workshops in 2025 like beekeeping, mushroom cultivation, tree plantings, farm tours etc to our new community 🧑‍🌾 🌱

We found a couple of bee hives on the property & now giving them some love. We’re going to bring some more hives in which means 2 things for you guys..

1) delicious honey will be available from our cafe soon 🍯
2) we’ll be offering beekeeping workshops in 2025 for anyone who’s interested in learning more about these precious little pollinators! 🐝

We are redefining destination experiences with a unique opportunity for a dynamic individual to join our team at our new property on the stunning Sunshine Coast. We are looking for an energetic experienced Barista for our cafe located in Palmwoods.

Position: Casual approx. 20-25 hours per week
Schedule: 4-5 days a week, including weekends
$32-$35 per hour

What You’ll Do:
✨ Craft specialty coffee creations in a warm and inviting café setting
✨ Able to texture milk perfectly and produce latte art
✨ Engage with customers, providing friendly and efficient service
✨ Keep the café clean, organised, and welcoming

What We’re Looking For:
✨ A minimum of 2-year barista experience
✨ Excellent coffee-making skills with attention to detail
✨ Strong customer service abilities with a friendly and positive attitude
✨ Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
