When one of your cele-besties tells you she’s going to be a guest at your wedding coming up you would be nervous right??? Not 👏🏻 a 👏🏻 chance. Not when it is the most beautiful and supportive pal you could possibly ask for. And that could only the wonderful . From day dot she has been one of my biggest cheerleaders and just brings such a positive energy and vibe into my life. So, as I looked out across Sam and Cheryl’s wonderful guests today, I loved catching her beautiful smile. Thanks for always lifting me up, for being my unofficial colleague and for singing my praises from the rooftop.

Ps. Lisa is one of a few celebrants I recommend if I am unavailable on your special day. The others are the gorgeous & . Any of these ladies will absolutely ensure your ceremony is your favourite memory from your wedding day!

When it comes to Jessy and Brandon, it is all about how they look at each other. It’s the eye contact when no one is watching, the cheeky inner jokes shared with a simple smile and how their faces can’t hide the unconditional love that they share.

This wedding will forever go down in the history books as one of my absolute faves. Jessy and Brandon are so obviously each other’s ride or die and their wedding was so incredibly special to be involved in!

Emily and Nathan
25.09.24

These Formula 1 loving legends had their beautiful dog Lando (two guesses as to who he is named after) as their ring bearer. Lando has done his fair share of damage in his time. You name it, that dog has eaten it, from gastro stop, to McLaren lego, to Emily's professional development folder in its entirety, however Emily and Nathan knew that their ceremony wouldn't be the same without their favourite fur child along to present their rings. As he strutted the aisle, we had the Formula 1 theme song blasting. This beautiful ceremony for this fun loving couple had some big emotions when Emily walked the aisle and some huge laughs when I rattled off the list of damaged performed by their pup. They finished it off with confetti cannons and a dip kiss. Thanks for letting me play a role in your big day Mrs and Mr Miller!

🎉🎉🎉 4 years as a celebrant!!! 🎉🎉🎉

In my four years I have been lucky enough to marry my sister in-laws, my cousin, one of my oldest friends, former colleagues, primary & high school friends, friends of my hubby, my best friend's uncle, university friends, my mum's former colleagues, friends of my sister, friends of my mum, friends from my mother's group, my gym owner, friend's of my family and a whole heap of people who started out as complete strangers, that I now get to call friends for life. Thank you to each and every single couple who I have had the honours of making official.

How damn lucky am I???

I love being the one to calm your nerves, to wipe the makeup off your jacket, to make you laugh by retelling your love story, to make you cry when you think of those loved ones looking down upon the moment, but above all, I truly love to make your special day about YOU.

And with that in mind, I wanted to celebrate my 4 years of being a celebrant by posting this beautiful photo from of & .lim_ 's big day, because if you know me, you know I believe it is not about me, it is about you. Greg & Row-Yi are doing the perfect amount of celebrating for me in this photo and they are one of those sets of perfect strangers that I now get to call pals for life.

I loved working with Alex and Kyle to create a perfect celebration of their family. One of my favourite memories from their love story, was during the covid lockdowns in London. They would use their allocated "outdoor time" to ride the completely empty streets of London, taking photos of the streets that were usually swarming with people. They took care of Kyle's stocks of wine samples and made friends with their neighbours, sneaking them in to play cards and share wine late at night. As a fellow former Londoner - this story created such a visual in my head! I really connected with Alex and Kyle and it was an absolute blast meeting their family and friends whilst sharing in their special moment.

REVIEW FROM A & K: We had the pleasure of having Holly as our celebrant for our wedding in April and feel SO lucky to have found her. Words can't convey how amazing she is. Right from the outset, our first video call, to all the tiny details, meetings, assistance with vows, the organisation of everything - it was just seamless and made our day completely stress free. Holly went above and beyond in every way to make our day special and we are forever grateful. Her expertise was exceptional, coupled with her gorgeous personality, sense of humour and extraordinary ability to turn words into a sensational story which made for the most beautiful ceremony which our friends and family are still talking about. I would recommend Holly in a heartbeat - I can guarantee you will not find a better celebrant!

80+ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ reviews on google. Shut the front door. 🚪

Thank you to each and every wonderful person who has taken the time to drop me a lil lovin. I SO appreciate you, and your words of appreciation allow me to keep doing what I love most. This photo was taken from my first EVER wedding ceremony and I don't think in that moment that I could have dreamt of receiving so many kind words.

I truly get to marry the best people. 🫶🏻

You know that feeling when you meet people and know they are your “people?” I felt this immediately with Keeley and Trav and I felt so beyond lucky to play a role in their special day. I actually got pretty choked up watching Keeley walk down to Trav.

They met in the lunchroom of a job that Keeley had just quit, on Trav’s first day on the job, where Keeley didn’t hold back with telling Travis how rubbish the place was. Considering Trav left the job within 6 weeks, I’d say Keeley wasn’t wrong. They have achieved so much in their life together, including the arrival of their gorgeous little gal and in very exciting recent news will be adding a new little member to the Jordan crew 🩵

Thanks for being my people Keeley and Travis. Keep cracking knuckles, yawning during the intelligent conversations and keep being YOU! 🩷🩷🩷

Michelle and Brandon met on the sticky dance floor of Liquids nightclub in Rockingham and held hands all night. They then had their first date sharing KFC on Michelle’s couch! As they explained, the broke days were real. I love their first meeting story as it reminds me of meeting my own hubby at the super classy Clink nightclub in Freo. 🤣

However you met, there is a story to be told about it and I love being the one to share it with your nearest and dearest. Mrs and Mr O’Brien were a dream to marry and I love how they remained their authentic and hilarious selves throughout their ceremony.

Words from Michelle: “Holly was amazing from start to finish. She blew us off our feet from the beginning and everyone in attendance commented on how brilliant Holly was and we chose well.”

I have just recently been blessed with an influx of glowing reviews and I thought it was high time that I shared some of these beautiful words. It means the world to me when my couple's take 5-10 mins out of their busy day to share some kind words (maybe 15 if you forget your google password - sorry about that.) Isobel and Jacob were married at Perth City Farm on the 22nd August 2024 surrounded by one of THE most warm and welcoming communities that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting!

Leonie and Dylan let me completely nerd out with some Stargate references to finish off their super fun ceremony. It went a little something like this…

“As you embark on this journey together, I want to finish by asking you to remember the wise words of Dr Daniel Jackson from Stargate, “I have crossed oceans of time to find you.”
May you always find strength and courage in each other’s presence, just like the characters of SG-1 faced challenges together.
May the promises you made today serve as the gateways to your shared future.
And may your marriage be the best plan F in all of history.”

was the wonderful photographer for this epic day and she’s written a lovely blog about it. Head over to her webpage to check it out.

I’m stoked to be back at this weekend!

In my humble opinion.... ALWAYS 👏🏼 do 👏🏼 the 👏🏼 confetti 👏🏼 shot 👏🏼.

And before you come at me saying, well my ceremony venue won't allow it... think outside the box. Bubbles, biodegradable confetti, hole punched native leaves, dried petals. Just make this shot happen. Your reception venue may allow you a confetti entry or exit. You may be able to find a private location where your wedding party can shower you in confetti.

Personally, it is one of my favourite photos from my own wedding and in my humble opinion you won't regret it.

Beautiful photo from .by.adelle of two of my faves in Cathy and Nick. Cathy and Nick didn't let their indoor ceremony stop them from the ultimate confetti exit and as the rest of their night was THE ultimate party, the guests didn't even notice the confetti underneath their dinner tables!

Emma & David Southall-Rose married on the very memorable 24.02.24

Captured by the very lovely Melissa's Photography up at Kings Park.

Emma and David's love story began with their chance meeting at the start line of the 2016 HBF Run for a Reason! However, I believe fate had been working behind the scenes to bring these two together. Their race bib numbers were consecutive (even though they had registered for the race completely separately), they found old photos that featured them together in previous park runs and they had both completed a particular park run back in 2014 and clocked the exact same finish time. I believe the universe was doing it's best work to bring them together.

Their ceremony was filled with so many heartfelt moments including a special thank you to their parent's and children, the most gorgeous personalised vows and just a whole heap of laughs.

What Emma and David share is an easy love. It is uncomplicated, drama free, a friendship, but above all it is based on enjoying the simple things in life. They always spark joy in the everyday, whilst bringing a sense of completion and fulfilment to each other's lives. It was truly an honour to be involved in their special day.

Their review: Holly was the most amazing celebrant we could have asked for. Her interest in us as a couple and our unique love story was her focus, personalising every detail. We were given the option to view her narrative prior to the ceremony which we declined. On the day, she nailed all the finer details, making the ceremony engaging for our guests. Her communication throughout was spot on. She made the job of writing our vows and choosing our reading much easier by providing information and examples. She was very knowledgable about the whole process and was quick to answer any question that we had. Many of our guests commented on how personalised our ceremony was and as a result, very enjoyable."

Picture this. You are on the drive to a ceremony, when you receive a call from an unknown number. The voice states, hello, I am the cousin of Luke (my groom for the day.) When Kelly (my bride for the day) gets down the aisle, Luke is going to walk off. He has a surprise for her. Just go with it... trust us. She will love it.

Absolutely uncertain on whether I could just "go with it," (I mean isn't it anyone's worst nightmare that their partner may indeed just walk off?) I luckily remembered the wise words of Kelly, herself. At their rehearsal, on our departing hugs, she said to me, "buckle in, he's up to something" and at the time I had laughed it off. I expected cheeky vows or a few jokes from Luke.

So, when Kelly made it down the aisle, Luke did indeed stroll off. He then quickly (or not so quickly -it felt like my heart was in my throat the whole time he was missing) returned, dressed in a King costume, dancing to his own welcome back sting. I managed to calm my heart rate when I looked across at Kelly, who had tears rolling down her cheeks and was in fits of laughter, ready to welcome back and marry her one and only King, Luke. The guests were also roaring with laughter as Luke showed off his cloak and crown.

We had a whole heap of fun after this and Luke's little prank set such a lighthearted vibe for the whole ceremony. You can see that Kelly clearly knows Luke far too well, Luke knows the exact humour that Kelly can tolerate, and that they are absolutely perfect for one another. I think these two have a long future of cracking each other up, whilst keeping life exciting with their little surprises. An absolute day to remember and one I will never ever forget!

I’ve been saving my post for this wedding for a while, because this one, well, it was so incredibly special to me.

Rianda was one of the very first Mum’s I met at mother’s group and we shared an instant connection. Even now, three years on, our boys adore each other (I even documented meeting her in a baby journal I kept. First child things 🤣)

So you can imagine how thrilled and moved I was when Andrew and Rianda asked not only me, but my whole family to join them on Rottnest Island to be a part of their special day. The privilege will never be lost on me, and I am so grateful that I was the one to officially declare them as Mrs and Mr Stephen.

From their humble beginnings in the PE department at Willetton High School to building a beautiful family together, Ri and Stevo have lovingly hand crafted the ultimate team. They planned the most perfect, intimate moment to celebrate the lifetime they plan to share together.

So here is to footy remaining Andrew’s “thing”, to the housework being completed before 7am and to their promise that they will always show up for their family, never taking a moment for granted.

Happy one year wedding anniversary to the lovely Steve and ❤️ I had a blast making these two official at the gorgeous exactly one year ago.

When Andrea pulled together her criteria for a potential suitor it read:
Must drink red wine (woman of my own heart 🍷) ✅
must enjoy a great scotch ✅
must LOVE camping, fishing and the outdoors ✅ must be into dogs ✅
and last but not least, must be a minimum of 183cm tall. 🆘

Steve only fell short of one of the criteria (by exactly 0.5cm) so decided to reach out anyway and a coffee date was set. And as the old saying goes… well the rest (plus the 0.5cms) was history for Andrea and Steve. I am so glad that these two awesome humans have found their happily ever after. Here is to one hundred more years by each others side 😉

“Holly, we cannot thank you enough! Your perfect description of Dylan and I as a couple was so fun, engaging, and had just the right amount of nerd content. 😅 Your amazing personality, energy and wit kept us calm and collected throughout the whole ceremony and we are honestly so happy to have had you as our celebrant. Our family and friends have all commented on how amazing and personal your ceremony was and that it is one they will remember forever.
We cannot recommend you enough ❤️”

Libby & Patrick 6.4.24

Libby and Patrick can safely say they did it their way and I loved every minute of it. A few things they did that made their big day “them.”

1.) They had their family and friends arrive staggered pre-ceremony to have individual connection time with them. It allowed them to get a photo with each guest feeling fresh and excited. Connection clearly was important to them.

2.) They said “I do” under an arbor that Patrick lovingly hand crafted himself in one of their favourite spots, Bayview Park. Patrick is one handy man. Minimal set up. Maximum love.

3.) They ditched the traditional reception, had some casual drinks post ceremony and then enjoyed a long boozy lunch with their nearest and dearest the Friday after. Give me a boozy lunch anyday 🍷

Do it your way, always. Thank you Libby and Patrick for allowing me to play a role in a really really special moment for your family. It will forever stay in my memories and I applaud you for doing your day, your way.

Thanks to for the snap and for being a total legend to work with.
