Even the sweetest, most beautiful people can find their marriage proposal plans rudely interrupted by a bout of the flu while holidaying in glistening, snowy London!

Three weeks later it was New Yearโ€™s Eve and the stars had realigned. Taking a walk around the beautifully lit St Paulโ€™s Cathedral that night, time stood still as Brody dropped to one knee and asked Jess to marry him. It was one of the busiest nights of the year in the heart of the hustling, bustling city but at that moment, only they existed. ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿ’–

When youโ€™re deep into wedding planning and life throws you the most precious of plot twists (a pregnancy!), what do you do? ๐Ÿค”

Well, you can carry on and have an adorable little third wheel in your arms as you exchange vows. If it all feels a bit much you could postpone. Or, you can do what Megan and Blayze didโ€ฆ

Stripped back the bells and whistles, booked a lunch with just their immediate families, and had me tag along to perform their marriage over a glass of bubbles at the table. 10/10 would do again! ๐Ÿฅ‚

This love story began when Anita, 16, walked into a house party and saw Dean dancing on the kitchen bench top to Christina Aguileraโ€™s โ€˜Dirrtyโ€™. They exchanged numbers and dated for six months, until Anita ghosted him.

Fate had a way of twisting these paths back into alignment and before they knew it, Dean was popping the question. Anitaโ€™s response: โ€œWhat the f*** are you doing?โ€

Oh how I love Ash and Alex! ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿ’ž

After exchanging plenty of dad jokes online, these two met (where else?!) at the gym for leg day! Thinking it was no more than a casual meet and greet, Ash turned up looking like a self-confessed hot mess - fresh out of the shower with her wet hair scrunched in a bun, no make-up, and no intention to impress. ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ

Little did she know, it was her future hubby
putting her through her paces with some heavy
squats so he could test the merchandise. ๐Ÿ‘

So head over heels in love did these two fall, that the day Alex received the custom-made engagement ring heโ€™d ordered was also the day his proposal plan went out the window and he popped the question then and there to an unsuspecting Ash who was cooking. Never mind the burnt dinnerโ€ฆ it was a big YES! ๐Ÿ’

Just for fun a few days later, the original proposal plan did go ahead on the beautiful beach, with dear friends playing secret photographer. ๐ŸŒŠ๐Ÿ’•

Who would have thought a chance meeting at the classy establishment known as Liquids Nightclub would result in four beautiful sons and a 10-year engagement! What was memorable for Lauren that night was Leon in his jeans and ASICS. โ€œSneansโ€, if you will. ๐Ÿ‘–๐Ÿ‘Ÿ

Lauren is a details gal, and the only downside to this wedding was that it brought an end to our regular planning chit chats. A well thought out and beautifully executed day. Congrats, Mr & Mrs O! ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿค
