So much love and thought went into planning my Sofia’s 5th birthday party.✨

She wanted to be a star princess and have a space party with lots of stars. 🥰 When I came up with the theme “Five Stellar Years of Sofia,” she was sooooo excited! 🥳

We also used her favorite color everywhere, making it extra special for her. 🫶🏽

I am incredibly grateful to the amazing vendors who worked alongside me to bring this vision to life. I truly couldn’t have done it without them!👇🏼

A super fun party was the priority for Sofia’s 5th birthday! 🥳

And it could never go wrong with our choice of vendors to bring the most exciting entertainment to the party ⭐️:

Iridescent Bouncy Bubble House from : we had the honor of being the first ones to have it in WA. It was incredibly fun and brought such an incredible vibe to the party! I feel like this is going to be a trendy one in 2025. 🤭

Personalized play-dough workshop: which child doesn’t love play-dough? Specially when it comes with all the cool accessories to play with. As I always say, workshops are the new parties, and as a bonus, children get to take home something that will last and they’ll actually play with for a long time. The premium play-dough kits from smelled so good that we had guests asking if it was edible. 🤣

Ball Pit with Double Slide from : double slide means double the fun, and the kids went crazy about it! Sofia is already saying she wants it again next year. 😆

Lilac Bouncy Castle from : a classic that never goes out of style, as we all know how much kids love to jump non-stop. 🤪

Digital Dance floor: Sofia looooves dancing, and she and her friends had the best time dancing to all her favorite songs on this beautiful dance floor by 🪩

You probably noticed that we have been sharing a bit about our Mini Giants journey here in the past few days.

So I thought I should also introduce myself, as I’m the one behind pretty much everything that happens here, and it’s been a while since the last time I did it.

If you don’t know me yet, my name is Rafaela 😊

I am originally from the countryside of Brazil and I have been living in Australia for the past 8 years.

Today, I can finally and proudly say that I’m a permanent resident, on my way towards Australian citizenship. What a long and challenging process. 😮‍💨

I started Mini Giants as a painting hiring business, which initially was just a side hustle.

At that time, I was working in a strata company and I remember feeling like I was trading my time for money, and that didn’t feel right for me. 🫠

I wanted to dedicate more time to my family, feel more fulfilled in life, and I had always desired to have my own business. 💭

I made the decision to leave my 9-5 job and fully commit to growing Mini Giants. Treating it as a side hustle would have kept it that way forever.

My first workshops were not that great, I can’t even compare our beginning with what we offer to our clients today.

But it was thanks to this not-so-good beginning that today we are recognized as a reference for kids’ birthday parties, offering the best and most unique experience.

This process of evolution is so painful and so beautiful at the same time. 😵‍💫🤩🥴🥳🤡🥹 Literally a roller coaster. 😅

Competence, excellence, and authority in what we do are built over time, with a lot of consistency and patience, but it is just so rewarding when we finally reach that point. 🥹⭐️

December last year I went through my toughest time of running Mini Giants and it was during that time that I found my faith in God again after longing for it for so long. That’s why I chose this song for this post, which I can relate so much. ✨

A year of growth, big challenges, and achievements 🌟

This year I completely stepped out of my comfort zone.

I had a look into my goals for Mini Giants for 2023 several times through the year, always looking to move forward with what was written in there.

And I am proud to say that many have been achieved!

These ones mentioned in the pictures above, but also:

💛 We’ve built meaningful connections:

The people I’ve had the privilege to work with and connect with through delivering our workshops and services.

The parents and Mini Giants that have stick to us in our school holidays through the year.

The families we’ve got to be with in their children birthday celebrations.

The businesses that we’ve worked and connected with.

Collaboration, open communication, and a shared commitment to excellence have been the driving forces behind our success at Mini Giants and it will continue to do so in 2024.

💡 Continuous learning:

I dedicated myself to staying curious, seeking out unique services and workshops for our mini giants and staying abreast of industry trends.

🙏 Gratitude, spirituality and appreciation:

My heart is filled with gratitude for finding myself spiritually again this year, after so long. 🥹

For the support of my family, especially my husband. Mentors and friends. Their encouragement, guidance, and support have been instrumental in my journey this year.

It’s a reminder of the power of a solid base and the strength we gain from the people we relate ourselves to.

🚀 Looking ahead to 2024:

The lessons I learned, the big challenges I overcome, all the tears and also the achievements celebrated will undoubtedly shape the path ahead.
