What a perfect day to reintroduce myself !!!

Jasmine Astra founder of The Movement Arts & Entertainment & The Worldwide Collective of Creative Womxn

Music is what I breathe, and creativity flows through my veins.. and is the core of my being !!

I grew up in the entertainment, music & arts industry and while learning form my father and others found my own footing and began to create a legacy of my own !!

I get a lot of messages from artists, musicians, and others reaching out and without fail 9/10 times they think that The Movement was created and is ran by a guy .. but .. it’s not !!

My desire and drive to create magical, exponential events for everyone is MASSIVE ..

… but my legacy for creating more space, more freedom, more opportunities, more expression for Womxn is far greater than anyone could imagine !!

Hades fell in love with Persephone and decided to kidnap her. The myth says that in one of the rare times he left the Underworld, he traveled above ground to pursue her, while she was gathering flowers in a field.

The myth goes, one day Hades, God of the Underworld, saw Persephone and instantly fell in love with her.

Some tales talk of him kindnapping her and her being terribly unhappy, but one of the original mthyos speaks of Persephone choosing to stay with Hades, she ate the pomegranate to be able to stay in The Underworld and to thrive as live as both the Goddess of Spring and the Queen Of The Underworld by Hades side

“Why Should I Apologise For The Monster I Have Become, No One Ever Apologized For Making Me That Way”

Medusa is one of the easiest-to-recognise characters in Greek mythology. With its unmistakable snake hair and the power to turn whoever looks at it into stone, it is one of the most popular monsters in ancient stories.

But there’s a part of her story that not everyone knows that will completely change your perspective.

Snake lady didn't always have a creepy appearance. Medusa was one of the Three Gorgon Sisters (a kind of female monster). Unlike her sisters Esteno and Euriale, she was the only mortal in the family.

Ovidio was a Roman poet considered to be one of the most important in Latin literature and was also one of the first to describe how the mythological being Medusa became a terrible creature.

The Encyclopedia of Ancient History quotes Ovidio briefly, but impactful. Medusa was a beautiful young lady and Poseidon wished her for him. The god of the seas attacked and assaulted her inside a temple dedicated to Athena.

The goddess took this attack as an offense and punished the woman by giving her snakes instead of hair and with the curse of turning anyone looking into stone.

Lilith is a female figure in Mesopotamian and Jewish mythology, or the scared beginnings of what would form Abrahamic religion.

Lilith is depicted to be the first wife of Adam and supposedly the primordial she-demon.

In indigenous society of Africa and other societies around the globe whom are connected to the earth, and other spiritual realms, the Witch Doctor (Medicine Man) was a person who had mystical powers that enabled him to detect witches and to combat their evil actions. While often portrayed as a EVIL WITCH, Malevolent is a fairy. The most powerful of all the fairies, guarded with taking care of the woodland fae of the moors.

Maleficent is the self-proclaimed "Mistress of All Evil" based on the evil fairy godmother character in Charles Perrault's fairy tale Sleeping Beauty, as well as the villainess who appears in the Brothers Grimm's retelling of the story, Little Briar Rose.

Introducing the PERTH 2024 cast of “VaudeVillains” - performed by an independent ensemble ready to make waves!!

Join me in giving a standing ovation to the incredible performers!!

is an artists specialised in a various range of Entertainment, from circus to dance and fire she loves to surprise the public with her diversity of shows.

She started her journey in arts and entertainment when she was 15, studying theatre and performing for Casa Teatro Ragazzi in Italy where she grew up, and moving around the country to work and learn from eminents theatres directors.

Her circus training started at Karnidale Lunar Circus where she felt in love with aerials. From there she never stopped, training lyra and silks at Kinetica with some of the best performers in Perth.

Working around Australia as dancer and performer she has show herself in many music festivals, like OrinAya, Blossom, Blazing Swan performing with fire and circus arts and collaborating with Gypsy Goddes dancing for her many festivals opening ceremonies.

Moony Gypsy has performed for Government entities in Perth, Bunbury Fringe and local events while teaching Flow Arts in Fremantle where she is based

ropes J first started sh***ri in 2020, finding love in bunnying after learning how deeply she craved safety and the space to surrender.

The following year she was performing in Fringe World perth and Adelaide sharing this love with the wider community.

Bettween both growing up on stage and having done scouts since i was 6, performing Sh***ri and working with rope on stage feels like destiny.

We are lucky to have so many incredible educators and teachers available to grow under the guidance of.

Being a level 4 Kazami Ryu student and often traveling interstate to continue her education within the Kanna Ryu style.

J is well known in the arts circles and is regularly performing at play parties, birthdays, in Fringe and at festivals.

If there’s a space for a sensual play, and full self expression to pop in some toe rope and make a beautiful human smile, she’ll be there.

Katy began her dance journey with ballet, jazz and contemporary.

Performing in Rock Eistedfords and theatre gave her a taste for the stage.

For her, dancing is intimately connected to the music. It can be a deep meditation, playful expression or flow state where she is an instrument of the music.

After a degree in Performance Studies and Psychology, dancing took a back seat to “real jobs”.

Over the last few years she has returned to dance with passion. Exploring a diverse range of styles including burlesque, west coast swing, lyrical, contemporary, heels, embodiment, ecstatic and trance dance.

Come Witness Katy as she steps deeper into her passion of dance, and brings audiences to their knees

A lot of ppl in the industry that just “rookie it” have no idea the scope of the work that is done to actually plan and develop an event. Then they wonder why they fell short, or barely broke even, had “unforeseen problems” unfold, and spent the time solving problems and dealing with unhappy people across all areas of the event !! A great event planner, and manager knows how IMPORTANT planning, and preparation is !!
