MR + MRS LAKIN

This ceremony was full of all the laughs and a whole lotta love. Marlene and Darryn were so relaxed on their day and just wrapped up in their love bubble. It was such a joy to behold. I don't think anyone was more excited than Marlene's mum!

A beautiful short and sweet ceremony followed by a gorgeous dinner with their nearest and dearest at the Esplande Hotel!

Celebrations with Linley got a revamp! Nic from absolutely nailed the brief, and I can't wait to start implementing her design!

I wouldn't be here doing what I love without my gorgeous couples, and it makes sense to incorporate them into my logo. So here's to all my past, present, and future lovebirds who make the biggest impact on me and my business.

I wanted my brand to reflect me and it's bang on. Light-hearted, romantic, and genuine! I'm here to guide and support you through making your wedding ceremony epic!

WHAT IS THE DONLIM?

Here is Danni and I signing her DONLIM in the carpark before she did her first look with her future hubby, Matt.

Now, what is the DONLIM you may ask? Well, its full name is Declaration of No Legal Impediment to Marriage. It's one of the legal documents you and your partner must sign before we can proceed with your wedding ceremony.

In a nutshell, it's to verify that you aren't in a prohibited relationship, over the age of 18, and not married to anyone else.

This is signed closer to the ceremony than your NOIM, usually at the rehearsal, or when I come to say hi on the day, we quickly sign it together if we haven't already.

I've signed them in cars, in car parks, on people's backs, you name it! It's a form that takes two seconds, and then we are ready to rumble to get you both officially hitched!

It was gorgeous afternoon, celebrating Adam and Amy's love.

Arriving in some superb vintage limousines from with lots of sunflowers, little feet, and one bosterious pupper 🐕 it was a day to remember 💛

Adam and Amy decided to do their signing after the ceremony, and we managed to get the most beautiful intimate spot. Thanks to for capturing the best light for this and all the special moments of the day.

HAPPY EASTER 🐰

This year, with my kids, I ventured into more Easter crafts than ever before, which was messy but fun. We will do an egg hunt today and then spend weeks eating our eggs and bunnies, hopefully without too many sore tummies 😁

Sharing love stories is the main reason I do this whole celebrancy thing and gosh do I love it! And my heart loves it even more when my couples love it too.

Sharing Jess and Geoff's love story was amazing! Such a connected, in sync couple and it was my honour to share that with their nearest and dearest.

I had guests ask me after if I was a friend of theirs because it felt so personalised to them 😍

I'm so grateful they picked me for their day and getting to officially make them partners for life.

FAQ- WHAT DO I WEAR?

Well during our planning meeting (where we go through all the little details for your epic day) I'll ask you tell me all about your wedding flowers, the colour of your wedding party and any colours you might want me to avoid etc.

Based on your answers, I go away to my rainbow 🌈 wardrobe and pick out a dress that I think will most suit your day and blend in best.

I definitely don't want to clash with you or your squad! I put a lot of thought (and googling) into making sure my choice will only complement your day 🥰

I always want my couples to feel relaxed on their day, and I'm so grateful that even couples I meet for the first time at their wedding feel that from my presence!

OUT OF OFFICE ✈️

I'm kicking back in a pool with a cocktail 🍹 in hand over the next few days. A much needed respite over Christmas is just what this little mumma, wifey, and celebrant ordered.

Emails will be on the back burner, but all of my January couples will be getting top priority when I'm back on Australian soil.

Can we just have a minute for how far wedding stationary has come? I just think all the different shapes and tiny details incorporated into wedding stationary are just so fun!

Now I know that this kind of thing isn't always in everyone's budget. I love the cheaper costs and eco friendliness 🌿 of a wedding website that allows everything to be digital, but I'm sure we can appreciate the beauty of some of these pieces.

Everyone loves having something to nibble, a drink to quench their thirst post ceremony, but having some fun little activites in your cocktail hour can be a touch of fun for your guests, too!

From a sip & solve personalised crossword, giant jenja, or polaroid wall, guests can relax and get themselves into a festive mood before the big reception party!

If you want someone to ensure your guests start the games, always have a drink in hand and are signing that guest book. Look out for my new service launching next year 😉
