One of my fave seating charts to date! 🩷

Guests at Chantelle and Pete’s wedding were delighted to discover their very own custom illustration by the incredibly talented , ready to guide them to their seats ☺️

Not only did this make for SUCH a memorable surprise, but also a gift for guests to take home at the end of the night 🎀

As a cheeky little thank you, I also surprised this beautiful family with a framed custom portrait of their family, little book and fly swatter for their one year old 😂 (my daughter’s recommendation who is the same age)

I’m obsessed! 😍 Here’s a few tips if you are too 👇

1. Timing is everything 🥂 you want to build up the hype to your champagne tower, my fave time is upon your entry as a married couple 👌 Gives everyone a great chance to oooh and ahh over it during cocktail hour, but no crazy dance moves are in play yet ☺️

2. They totally aren’t something you want to be winging on the day. I highly recommend hiring one from a pro, with good quality glasses and ideally an attendant there to help pre fill the bottom tiers and make sure Aunty Brenda doesn’t knock it over while taking a photo on her iPad 😉

3. Placement is key, you need to make sure it won’t overflow onto an open surface, so having a purpose made stand if it’s hired or a tray is important ✨ You’ll also want to be aware of the wind, particularly if you plan on it being outdoors 🌴

4. You can pre fill the bottom tiers with some cheap stuff 😉 I won’t tell if you won’t and it means you won’t be standing there pouring forever waiting to get to your glass up the top 🎀

5. Champagne towers don’t have to be champagne, yep I said it. Limoncello towers, fairy floss cocktail towers, gin and tonic, Mountain Dew, whateeeeever floats your boat 💕💕

So, plan on having one at your wedding?!🍸

💎 Get your engagement ring professionally cleaned so that it’s super sparkly for photos, keep in mind this process can take a while as some stores send them away 🤷🏻‍♀️

💎 Consider the overall look when planning your jewellery, do you have bows in your styling - I’m LIVING for pearl bow earrings right now 🎀, do you have a super detailed dress? Paired back jewellery might be the way to go 💅

💎 Do you have any sentimental pieces you want to include?

💎 Switch it up, there’s aaaaalways time for a quick change up in between your ceremony and reception
