This was well worth the secret squirrel business I got to partake in 🐿️

Lucy’s parents called me about 8 weeks prior to the wedding to ask if I could help them schedule a screen and capability to be able to show a video on the night as part of Lucy’s dads speech as a surprise 🎤

I knew straight away that the man who could help me on this quest, was Steve from 📺

It was the most seamless set up! So professionally done.

The bride and groom had no idea so when Lucy walked in to do her first look and saw the TV, her first reaction was ‘what the heck is that’ or to some degree 😉

I said to her my lips were sealed 🤐😝 and that I knew nothing!

The effort that went into this speech, my god, it was worth every ounce of secrecy 🥰

There was his and hers paddles for the guests to hold up, there were speeches and messages from loved ones who couldn’t make it as well as messages from Lucy and Mike’s favourite celebrities! 😂

It was honestly such a hoot and something they will all cherish for many years to come! 👏🏻

When I tell you I am there for you and will make anything possible happen if I can do, I mean it 🥰

Cannot stress enough how AMAZING Em is.

She went above and beyond to make sure our day was as special as can be, even down to the tiny details like giving us a plate of canapés that we missed due to having our photos during cocktail hour.

Everything ran smoothly, and she was so cool, calm and collected when we arrived which definitely eased the nerves!

Em even worked secretly with my parents to plan a surprise game show during their speech, which was such a memory for us and all our guests.

In the lead up, Emma kept in touch and answered all our questions and corresponded with our vendors in a friendly and prompt way.

Our families have nothing but rave reviews for Emma!

Thank you SO much Em, from the bottom of our hearts, for making our day so special.

It is honestly my favourite part of the day when I get to accompany my couples to their first look moment 🫶🏻

Lucy was sooooo incredibly organised and sure of her vision in the lead up to her wedding 🙏🏻

There was nothing more satisfying than listening to the squeal she made when she walked in and loved it 🥰

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I truly believe sometimes that less is more ❤️✨

Lucy and Michael had such an elegant yet simple vision for their reception.

A pop of red for the colour, crisp white napkins softened with a knot, classic black cutlery and boujee smoked ombré glassware to give it that sophisticated look!

I knew the moment I met you that not only were you the perfect person for the job but someone I could lean on in the lead up and consider a friend.

I was able to sit back and soak in all the important and special moments with my nearest and dearest with you at the helm.

You fit right in among our friends the day before and day of while you were down here on the farm. Provided the laughs, took away the stress, ironed out some creases and just were an overall legend.

One thing I always try and educated my couples on is the importance of the guest experience… ✨

Taking your guests on an experience throughout your wedding is honestly the best memory for them to leave with! 🙏🏻

This stems from where you choose to have your ceremony and how convenient that is for your guests to get to and from! 🙌🏻

Barefoot and carefree is definitely how I want you to feel on your wedding day 🫶🏻

I think in this crazy world of instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat the list goes on…. The meaning of WHY you are getting married can often be lost because it becomes a constant ‘keeping up with The Jones’ mentality 🙏🏻

First and foremost it should be about the LOVE you share. And about the values and feelings you bring to each other’s lives 🫶🏻

I just love looking at images like this because I know that in this moment, these two just had the time of their lives without a care in the world ✨
