Nemean
An unspoken ode to the modern sounds of drums and bass, with a blackened musical sensibility, Nemean forges his style with the hammer and tong of rhythm and bass.
His sound is a melding of uneven bass-lines and melodic hooks characterised by his love for darker sounds. Guided by intricate percussion and snappy production, Nemean's songs are designed - down to the core - to make you move.
Hailing from Melbourne, Australia, Rory Webb aka Nemean was introduced to heavy music at an early age. He wholeheartedly threw himself in the punk and metal scenes as a teen but entered the electronic music scene in his early 20s with DJing and production after never quite finding his passion with an analogue instrument in his hand.
Now, influenced from the harder edges of music Nemean sets out to deliver face melting Neurofunk.
Nemean has been relentlessly pushing forward with his latest EP 'Possession' released on Eatbrain plus many more including releases on Cause4Concern, Hanzom Music, Code Smell, Abducted Records, Root97, Code Smell, Bass Rabbit, Kill Tomorrow, and The Tech Collective. An upcoming EP with Hanzom Music is sure to further this as momentum with some of his most polished and forward thinking tracks to date. Big plans are in his mind and unreleased music is plentiful.

Dothistroma needle blight (DNB) is a fungal disease affecting mainly pine species. The fungus affects the needles of the infected tree, which eventually shed. This can continue year on year and gradually weaken the tree, significantly reducing timber yields. It can also eventually lead to mortality.
Shannan has releases on PRSPCT, DeVice, High Tea Music, Bass Rabbit Recordings, CREATURED and Zombie Cats.

Reece Mercadante, better known as Dead Zodiac, hails from Perth's vibrant Drum & Bass scene. With a passion for cutting-edge, forward-thinking bass music, Dead Zodiac takes listeners on a sonic journey. His tracks have been released on renowned labels such as Eatbrain, Korsakov Music, Kill Tomorrow, Santoku Records, Lifestyle Music, and his own label, ProtoCode. His music has garnered support from top artists like Ed Rush, Koven, State Of Mind, The Clamps, Mizo, Noisia, Black Sun Empire, DJ SS, Zombie Cats, Volatile Cycle, Barbarix, and Logam.
Dead Zodiac's acclaimed EP, "The Fall," in collaboration with Perth EDM singer Veronica Bravo, received heavy rotation on RTRFM and BBC Radio 1, and featured remixes by Australian Drum & Bass stars V O E. Despite the challenges of 2020, Dead Zodiac released the successful single "Battalion / Shuriken" on Kill Tomorrow, which gained significant traction on various Spotify playlists. In 2021, he teamed up with label mate Esym to produce the cinematic dancefloor EP "Cybernetics."
The year 2022 marked a milestone in his career with the release of tracks like "Alpha Blood" on Eatbrain's "Divergence IV" LP, "Mecha City" on Korsakov's "Rising Stars Vol 3" LP, "Forward March" on Neurofunk What Else?, and "Stampede" on ProtoCode Music.
Dead Zodiac's energetic DJ performances earned him the title of Best Drum & Bass DJ at the Perth Dance Music Awards in 2012 and 2013. Throughout his illustrious DJ career, he has supported industry giants including A.M.C, Andy C, Friction, Noisia, Calyx & Teebee, Phace, State Of Mind, Black Sun Empire, Audio, Ed Rush & Optical, The Upbeats, Teddy Killerz, Break, Joe Ford, DC Breaks, The Prototypes, Jade, Delta Heavy, Loadstar, London Elektricity, Fierce, Tantrum Desire, Dieselboy, and many others.
As the co-founder of Drum & Bass label ProtoCode, alongside Esym and Against Odds, Dead Zodiac continues to push the boundaries of bass music, consistently delivering innovative and high-quality productions.

Counterfit started mixing at the beginning of 2020 through the covid lockdowns. He has since found himself growing into a technical and proficient dj. The term train wreck was developed after Mender started mixing and is the very reason the term exists to this day, often known as the fat controller this bloke has been derailing mixes since buying turntables at the ripe age of 16.
He has a strong love for neurofunk, dancefloor, jungle and cross genre drum & bass but never sits inside the box of a few subgenres and often ventures into many other subgenres during the mix taking you on a journey as this is how the world of drum & bass was first percieved by him, a journey through sound that can tell a story and express emotions that the english language simply do not have words for.
Rumours have also been circulating that the alter ego of Mender known as Esco Publobar will be making an appearance...
With Esco Publobar, expect the unexpected. From quirky remixes to tunes so fresh they're coming directly from the lab pure and uncut for your earhole pleasure. After pestering everyone he worked with in the mines with countless dad jokes and continually going on about Jungle, it was time to come home, before he got too fu***ng old, which is a decision I’m sure the mines were grateful for.
After spending the best years of his life being completely obsessed with Jungle & Drum & Bass, the time had come to start giving back to the scene.
