Things have been very quiet on my page lately because I have another life update, my very talented husband received a scholarship to study his masters degree at MIT in Boston! So last month my family packed up and moved to the other side of the world for a year. Although I have packed my cameras this next year is going to be focused on documenting my own family’s adventures.
I would like to thank you all for being so patient with me during my photography break at the end of last year. That was an important time for me to take off and adjust to becoming a mum for the first time. I am just sorry that I have taken off again without properly getting the chance to offer photography sessions to you. I promise I will be in touch as soon as we are back in Perth and ready to resume normal programming. Until then, I will share a little bit of my travel photography, so keep an eye out. Take care x

***I’m back***
Hello and happy new year!
Having some time off at the end of 2022 was exactly what me and my family needed, thank you all for your patience and understanding.
I am now back and ready to capture your special moments in 2023.
I have limited spaces for family, newborn and maternity shoots in Jan and Feb, I will post available dates on my stories. I also have slightly new pricing which I will also share with you in the next few days.

It’s with great sadness that I have come to decide to close Sarah Blackford Photography for the remainder of 2022. Family commitments have come to need more of my time on weekends and slowly my clients were having to take more of a back seat, this has meant delays on editing, pushing back long awaited sessions and generally not being as available as I would like.
Many of you have let me into your homes, introduced me to your loved ones and celebrated milestones in front of my camera. For that I am truly thankful.
If you have gift vouchers to use please still get in touch and we can arrange for these to be redeemed, also if you have bookings for 2023 these will still be going ahead.
Thanks for your patience and understanding while I spend some time prioritising my family.
