The most FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS I get asked...

❓Where will you travel to for weddings?

✅ I live in Port Kennedy, WA however I AM happy to travel for weddings - in fact, travelling to weddings can be exciting and I'm super keen to go to venues I've never been to before!

❓How much will it cost me?

✅ Typically ceremonies can cost between $350 - $700, however there are many factors that will influence the cost - such as location, the number of people attending, and the complexity of the ceremony. Get in touch and we can work it out!

❓What do I need to do / what documents will I need?

✅ I will need to confirm your identity and date and place of birth. The most common combination of documents I will ask for is either your birth certificate / passport and a drivers license. I will then work with you to design the most perfect and amazing ceremony specifically for you!

❓ Can we write our own vows / do we have to write our own vows?

✅ You ABSOLUTELY can write your own, in fact I highly recommend it! It is really beautiful for you & your guests to hear something so personal - HOWEVER if this is something that you don't want to do, I have some really beautiful pre-written vows that together we can customize to suit you!

What is your favorite bible verse for a wedding ceremony? Two of my favorites are:

Romans 12.10 "Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other."

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 "Two are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. Likewise two people lying together can keep each other warm. But how can one be warm alone? A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated but two can stand back to back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken."

A stressful part of any wedding plan is who / how many people to invite to your wedding. There are many helpful guides out there, but what I find is often not thought about enough is how the amount of people affects the type of wedding ceremony you have.

Are you the type of couple who want to celebrate your love with a huge bunch of friends and a large reception to follow? OR are you the type of person / couple who want to just have a smaller more intimate ceremony with just your 'nearest and dearest" friends who understand all your inside jokes, nicknames and stories?

Some questions that are ceremony-focused that can help you (and that will also help your celebrant design your personalised ceremony) are:

- How will I feel, declaring my love to my fiancé in front of people? Will I be shy and feel self-conscious😟or confident and outgoing? 😎

- Will I be anxious in front of a large group?😬

- Will small children attend? Will I feel annoyed or irritated if a baby starts to cry in the middle of the ceremony?😠 Or do I just love babies so much that this is irrelevant? 😍

- Do I want to have to speak into a microphone or is this going to be too much for me to handle with all the stresses of the day? Do I just want a small group so that we wont need a microphone?🎙📢
