With our passion for low and slow cooking and doing things different, we decided to create a pit BBQ catering service called The Crafty Pit

Here at The Crafty Pit our mission is to cook meats that are tender and full of flavour, from pulled pork to pork ribs and to create foods which will wow your tastebuds. All our meats are smoked using different spice woods from hickory

to apple, using weber smokers

We can create a catering package that will suit your needs - from our pulled beef & pork sliders to arrosticini skewers. The Crafty Pit will take the hassle out of everything giving you more time to entertain you guest. We will prepare, cook and present our delicious food to your guest

We cater for all occasions including - weddings, birthdays, naming days, sporting events and more. We cover all of - Lake Macquarie, Newcastle, Port Stephens and Maitland area. Our meats and produce are from local providers. We prepare all our meats, sauces, relishes, chutneys on the day to provide you with the freshest and highest quality of food. The Crafty Pit is equipped to cater for a minimum of 50 guests and up to 200 guests. For under 50 guests we can provide a drop off only service.
