Happy anniversary to the love of my life 💕… we tied the knot not so long ago in my Slovakia - i thought i take the opportunity and show you my wedding bouquet made by my beloved mum - the flowers used were fresh and symbolic - English roses for my darlings heritage and the rest from my mums winter garden - she has always been my inspiration in her beautiful garden and flower arranging🦋 … we got the best wedding present - apples from my parents orchard decorated with clever labels with our initials shaded by the sun in the ripening process I have put them on the tables for the guests the night before nestled in between twigs and vine from my parents garden fence lit by candles in the drink and wine glasses

I received some stunning photos from Catherine from her wedding early in December…. Dainty whimsical combination of the dried flowers she chose for her beachstyle wedding adds the magic to the moment…. And what’s more - you can look at the flowers again and again displayed in a place that reminds you of one of the most memorable days in your life … longlasting moments with longlasting flowers

As the old year is nearly at the end I would like to wish you all a wonderful 2025!
My 2024 was amazing although challenging at times … I met so many beautiful people through my world of dried flowers, so many different floral creations left my studio into different corners of Australia and beyond sending long lasting floral love. … thank you my dear friends for supporting my little venture either by encouraging comments, likes, joining me at my workshops or appreciating my creations at various events !

Nearly there with the first floral corner of our house Christmas- few more daisies and red ribbons that my husband loves and relishing Christmas pieces … totally ECO STRUCTURE - supported by 3 nails and counterbalance of sturdy yet lightweight branches. So satisfying to know that no plastic of fake floral imitations were used only to his foraged and grown on our property 🦋

I’m using these wreaths for our gate but can be used in or out. You need lots of clippings of sturdy native foliage such as callistemon, banksia, grevillea, … sturdy vine base or steel rin, hessian string … This wreath should last outside for over the festive season and beyond depending on weather. The wreath leaves will curl, brown, shrink, get attacked by moths, caterpillars… but as long as they are dense they will be beautiful… afterwards they can go back to blend with nature … Happy Making!
