Top of the morning beautiful people. Did you know that June, July and August are some of the busiest times for ceremonies and weddings? Because of this, sometimes things take a little bit longer to process. Already I have noticed a longer wait for official marriage certificates. So don't stress soo much people, everything is fine.

Good morning lovers, just a few announcements below.

1. I have had a few email issues recently, sometimes my email appears as spam in your inbox or sometimes I am finding emails in limbo that have sent but havent sent. What I am doing this morning, is resending any emails that I have promised to send over the last fortnight. I appreciate the couples who have let me know they are waiting for an email etc.

2. SOOOOOOOOOOOOO, there is a possibility (its not set in stone but I feel like its going to happen, we find out in 9 days). That through Beards and Banter Mc's (another collaboration I am part of), I can run Karaoke/Djing at your next reception/hens night/bachelor party etc. We may or may not be experimenting with Auto Tune to add another element. If I can Belt out Celine Dion's my heart will go on and sound like an Angel (thanks to the auto tune), then there is hope for all. When we trial our equipment, I will make sure I put some videos up.

3. I have alot of Winter weddings coming up, just a friendly reminder for couples to not underestimate how cold it can get in CQ. I had a ceremony on the weekend and the day was gorgeous but it was pretty nippy.

Good morning all, I am at the Villa today in Yeppoon for a wedding rehearsal. A few of you have been asking for pricing on my glasses. The costs to have these at your ceremony are $350. What this means is that you get raw, unedited footage, before, during and after the ceremony. From videos to photos, it is a beautiful way to capture these moments for your special day. Good morning lovers, a fair few of you have been messaging me in regards to how my glasses work and why I use them. Basically, due to my height, where I stand at the ceremony and the fact that I am always doing something. I have really good opportunities to capture moments that are raw, honest and sometimes vulnerable. I recently had a wedding on the weekend, shout out to Rach and Shane. With their permission, over the next few days, I am going to share different photos and videos (on reels) to show you all how they can by used at your next event.

I will release price at some point but lets all just admire the beauty for a few days.

Good evening all, remember if you need decent sound equipment for your big day, please make sure you let me know, I partner up with Beards and Banter MC's (add them to Facebook) and they rent high quality equipment for weddings and receptions. Its your day, you should have good equipment to showcase the music you want but also to give the speeches justice when they are spoken. Below is a list and remember everything is portable. Let me know if you need a quote etc.

2000 watt Electrovoice Speakers with High Quality Wireless and corded Mics
Unnecessarily massive subwoofer with DJ lighting etc.
Fantastic collaboriative playlists for your reception (so people have been using these playlists for their receptions and through QR codes, your guests can add songs but the couple have the final say for what is being played.
They show you how everything works etc and are very flexible.

Good morning to all you winter buffs out there. I had an incredible weekend as I had the pleasure of being the celebrant and MC at Rachael and Shane's wedding. Two beautiful people with amazing friends and family with them. I had the privelage of wearing my meta glasses to record parts of the ceremony and part of the reception with them. I am going to check with the Newly weds if I can share them but so many beautiful moments captured.

What a fabulous way to start a weekend. I am a finalist for my celebrancy services as part of the Wedding Industry Awards. Thanks to those who voted. I am pretty humbled by this kind of stuff, as you all know, I put my heart and soul into making sure that you get the ceremony that you want. Thanks legends, win or lose, I am just thankful to part of the industry, and I am so thankful for the support.

Good morning all, I am in Maroochydore today and tomorrow meeting with a few couples as they want to get married in Central Queensland. I believe love can travel any distance and we love promoting Central Queensland.

Side note: not the worst place to spend a day or two..cough cough...business expenses.

Sooooo....here is a spicy story for you.

This week I have been helping out run events as an event day manager. At one event, one of the attendees pulled me up during the event and asked "I didn't know you were a celebrant as well as an amazing event host." I replied, " yes, I am a funky celebrant who provides stress free ceremonies, with a bit of charm and humour. Are you getting married soon? Her response, " You would be such an amazing celebrant, my team and I have watched you and heard you so much today. You were talking and meeting the needs of everyone, your so attentive, funny and you always smile even when asked to meet some pretty unreasonable demands. I want you to give me a call on Monday so I can put forward your application and be a reference for you to be a CELEBRANT FOR MARRIED AT FIRST SIGHT 2025." Turns out she was the CEO of the company and does a lot of work with Channel 9 and one of her choices for a celebrant was featured this year.

What a hectic end to beef week.

Good evening, congratulations to Nathan and Nic as they tied the knot on May the 4th. I had the absolute honour of being their celebrant, Wedding MC and DJ. It was a beautiful day with two amazing families coming together. I cannot wait to share the photos (when the couple is ready). I do have permission to share this incredible moment where the Newly Weds did a Sparkler send off. It was beautiful...and then we partied on the absolute bangers till late.

What an incredible week, for those who have emailed or messaged me, I will get back to you tomorrow :). Its been a wild week, 6 ceremonies in 7 days, all across CQ and the final one this afternoon. Below is one of the Ceremonies with the lovely Gwyneth and Terry. They eloped this week. Their theme was crazy Hawaiin shirts. What a crazy week, 6 weddings in 7 days. I have lots of really interesting ceremonies that I cannot wait to share with you all. Including my personal favourite, crazy shirt theme elopement :). Today I am on Facing Island marrying a lovely couple.

As some of you know, I couldn't take Rhiannon McAulay-Powell akathe luckiest wife in the world to Bali due to Qantas's quality decision making. So I thought in honour of missing her, I went to the most romantic restaurant I could find and had dinner by myself. Below are some traditional Balinese dishes. Just ignore the desserts hhaha.

What a wild evening, I had the privilege of witnessing the Ogoh-ogoh parade. It has puppets that take the form of mythological beings, mostly demons. The main purpose of the making of Ogoh-ogoh is the purification of the natural environment of any spiritual pollutants emitted from the activities of living beings (especially humans). As they party tonight they get ready for the day of silence tomorrow. The video below features the local school kids and their puppets. One of the kids thought I could be in the parade as and I quote "big white giant." Being 6 foot 3 helped take some incredible footage with my fancy glasses.
