Lake Rosebery is currently Closed to all recreational activities!

Our amazing lake has had an oil spill!

Teams are working tirelessly to get is clean as soon as possible.

While they are working on and controlling the spill, all recreational activities are prohibited!

Yes, we’re moving! 🚚📦

❓When are we moving? We’ll be closing at 5.30pm tomorrow (Friday 3 January) and reopening in our new (temporary) home at 10.30am on Tuesday 7 January.

❓Where will you find us? At 29 The Esplanade, opposite the cruise terminals.

❓Why are we moving? Our home is being rejuvenated as part of the Strahan Waterfront Precinct Redevelopment project, which includes renewal of the West Coast Visitor Information Centre building to enhance visitor servicing.

❓How long will we be at 29 The Esplanade? The visitor information centre redevelopment is part of stage one of the project, and we expect to be in our temporary home until August 2025.

❓Where can you find out more? Details about the project are available on West Coast Council’s website.

❓Will our services be changed? Once we’re up and running at 29 The Esplanade we’ll continue to provide visitor assistance, accommodation and activity bookings, sale of West Coast Tas merch and sale of tickets to The Ship That Never Was.
