The beautiful environs of Agnes Water and 1770 make a perfect setting for weddings. Whether you are planning an intimate occasion or a larger gathering 1770 Wedding Planners can work with you to organise and co-ordinate your special day. We are very flexible in our approach as we realise everyone has different requirements and as such we adapt our level of service to suit your needs. After our ini

tial consultation we can determine what it is you require. This can range from “full planning”, where we take care of all aspects of the wedding using your brief as a guide. This may include from arranging venues for the ceremony and reception, transportation and accommodation for bridal group and guests, up to ordering flowers and the cake and organising make-up and hairdressers. On the other hand you may just want some help with only certain aspects of your wedding, which could include a wedding day assistant or a ceremony co-ordinator, who can deal with things such as council permits for garden and beach weddings and the set- up and dismantling of the ceremony venue. Whatever it is you require, for a modest outlay we can make your wedding day planning the enjoyable experience it should be.

It’s been a busy and consuming few weeks for me in my office, long days and nights restructuring the business while incorporating Aisle Planner CRM system, something I’m super excited about though will admit is mentally exhausting.
Thankfully I was forced to take a break from the office and got to get creative while witnessing the most magical business launch for Claire and Taurean (stayed tuned)

2024 Rainy days have certainly been challenging for outdoor weddings and events. Yesterday the gorgeous Jessica and Jamie had planned a ceremony and picnic reception on the foreshore at 1770 with storms and rains predicted…⛈️
A quick change to plan b didn’t dampen any spirits and after the ceremony guests danced, sang and celebrated while being fed by the fabulous Kate & Tash from Tasty Temptations Katering - new.
Special mention to the amazing and talented niece of the bride and bridesmaid Katelyn who made the wedding cake. It was a piece of art and such a pleasure to showcase and must mention tasted amazing!!

Locals Adam and Rachel chose Sunday, April 21st, to officially tie the knot in front of around 100 friends and family. The beach ceremony took place at 1770 and was absolutely magical. Despite a week of heavy rain forecasts, the unexpected appearance of blue skies and sunshine created the perfect backdrop for their union. Guests were thrilled as the bride spoke of their journey weathering storms together and on cue a rain shower appeared adding to the magic. The reception, held on the couple's property, featured two marquees adorned with a festival of love theme. Aerial trapeze artist Cina greeted guests with champagne pours, followed by a family feast and a night of funky tunes, celebration and dancing. A big thank you and a huge well done to the 1770 Weddings team and everyone else that were involved in this magnificent celebration of love 💞

Ashley and Ellissa chose the destination planning package trusting 1770 Weddings to book services and assist in creating their dream wedding day within their budget.
Ellissa created the bridal florals and hired the customised ceremony florals from 1770 Weddings which were then utilised at the reception.

The wedding party and guests stayed at the wonderful Sandcastles 1770 Motel & Resort with the reception held at the onsite Drift & Wood Restaurant both offering amazing services and generous discounts for 1770 Weddings clients.

The ceremony was held on the beach at the 1770 foreshore with Married By Mitchell Celebrancy Services, a friend of the bride and groom who married the gorgeous couple in front of 70 family and friends.

Hair by Beth & Hair by Andrea performed their magic styling the bride and bridesmaids hair with the gorgeous and talented Jen JC Make up and Beauty for make-up and lovely Ange D & D nail bar who took care of the girls with spa pedi’s and nails on the wedding eve.

The amazing girls from Coffee & Cake Agnes Water created a perfect vanilla and chocolate 6inch wedding cake with colour matched cupcakes served for dessert at the reception.

A sneak peek of our first wedding setup for the 2024 wedding season. The date was unique and everything aligned perfectly with the full moon low tide exposing a stunning ceremony location among the rock pools. Surrounding storms provided a dramatic backdrop which enhanced the colour theme perfectly.

An ocean-themed wedding took place for the lovely couple, Tash and Ted, who travelled with their family and friends from both country Queensland and interstate to Agnes Water/1770, to commemorate their love and exchange vows.

I collaborated with Tash for over a year to meticulously plan their special day, ensuring every detail was perfect.

Tash's deep affection for the ocean was evident in the ceremony and reception decor, along with the ocean-themed bouquets crafted by us at 1770 Weddings.
The ceremony occurred on the 1770 Sandbar, where guests were transported by the unique amphibious vessel, The LARC1770 LARC! Tours. The vows were exchanged amidst family, friends, and the serene water, beautifully officiated by local celebrant 1770 Agnes Water Celebrants And Penelope Millar.
Local photographer Mia Eyeswide Imaging - Videography and Photography beautifully captured the day, while the bridal party had their hair styled by the talented Sarina Browning and makeup done by the skilled Mya from Ocean Therapies.
The evening reception was held at Drift & Wood Restaurant, adorned by 1770 Weddings. The exquisite cake was crafted by the talented Cake Genie Bundaberg, with the fabulous Paddy & Veronica entertaining the guests. The Sandcastles 1770 Motel & Resort on-site provided accommodation for the newlyweds and their guests, offering a convenient retreat after the celebrations.

It was an absolute pleasure collaborating with Deanna to plan and style her wedding. Her floristry skills were truly magical and transformed both the ceremony and reception venues into a breathtaking tropical wonderland.
Given Deanna's local residency, we had the opportunity to explore several potential ceremony locations over a few months. Ultimately, we selected the beach at Air Sea Rescue Park, a tidal creek with an ever-changing landscape. The exact location for exchanging vows was determined in the days leading up to the wedding.
The groom, Trent, and his groomsmen constructed a stunning driftwood arbor among the rock pools where they awaited the arrival of the beautiful bride.
The reception was held at Southern Cross Travelers Retreat in their function area, which was transformed into a fabulous entertaining space. Working alongside the bride and groom, we were able to create a memorable celebration that was a true delight.
