The park is named after Queen Victoria and opened in 1899, Queens Gardens is a stunning urban oasis right in the heart of East Perth with the WACCA cricket ground as the backdrop. 🌬️ It doesn’t look like it but this was a really windy day where the champagne tower 🥂 took a tumble and the welcome sign 🪧 wanted to remain horizontal on the floor plus to top it all off, the Swans 🦢 were reluctant to share this space. Despite these minor problems the wedding went on with success. 💒 Sometimes these things don’t work out or go to plan but we learn from them and appreciate what did work.☺️

Mandoon Estate is a boutique winery located within the Swan Valley region. This scenic location creates a stunning and varied backdrop for your wedding photos. The ceremony lawn is set amongst the beautiful manicured gardens, with the river to one side and the elegantly restored Roe’s family’s homestead on the other.
It also has luxe accommodation on site for getting ready as well as a place to begin your honeymoon.
Sounds perfect to me!

Cloudy days are great for photography because the soft, diffused light creates even lighting and reduces harsh shadows. It can make colors look more vibrant and details more pronounced. Plus, you don’t have to worry about squinting in the bright sunlight! 📷🌥️
