Explore art and film this month at the Multi-Arts Pavilion, mima!

🖼️ Join curator Rachael Kiang as she explores the concepts behind the multi-media exhibition 'MultiFutures'. Presented at Bankstown Arts Centre in 2024, 'MultiFutures' addresses the importance of diversity in the creation of imaginary and real-world futures based on the lived experiences of First Nations and CaLD communities.

🎞️ The curator talk will be followed by a screening of 'Ladhamba Tayem; Future Continuous' by Subash Thebe Limbu.

The Museum of Art and Culture, yapang opens two new exhibitions on Friday 13 December, 'Interfacial Intimacies' and 'Keg De Souza - Blue Haza: Awaba'.

🎨 'Interfacial Intimacies' asks what does it mean to be the absolute essence of yourself without being attached to any of it? Curated by Caine Chennatt and originally presented by Dark M**o and the Plimsoll Gallery, University of Tasmania.

🎨 Artist Keg De Souza will create with community a new body of work to extend her previous work 'Blue Haze'. 'Blue Haze: Awaba' follows the journey of Eucalyptus away from its culturally significant context - the Aboriginal land it comes from.
