The Story Behind LA: Lights and Angles

Every name carries a story, and ours—LA—is a reflection of love, loss, and the beautiful journey that life has taken us on.

It begins with two names, Luna and Aurora. Luna is our second child, our living miracle who fills our lives with light and joy. Her name, meaning “moon,” symbolises the soft, guiding glow she brings into our world, illuminating even the darkest nights.

Before Luna, there was Aurora, our first daughter. Her name means “dawn,” a symbol of hope and new beginnings. Aurora came into our lives as a blessing, but her time with us was heartbreakingly short. We were only able to hold her for a few precious days, days that will forever remain etched in our hearts. Though her light was brief, it was radiant. She taught us about the depths of love and the bittersweet beauty of cherishing every fleeting moment.

After losing Aurora, we held onto hope, dreaming of one day welcoming another baby girl. By God’s grace, Luna came into our lives, a light born from our prayers and resilience. She brought healing and joy, reminding us that even after the longest, darkest nights, the dawn will always come.

When it came time to name our company, we wanted something that honoured both our daughters and the journey they represent. “LA” stands for Luna and Aurora, but it also embodies “Lights and Angles.” Life, much like art, is a delicate interplay of light and angles—moments of brilliance and shadow, highs and lows that shape who we are.

LA is more than a name; it is a tribute to our daughters. To Aurora, whose light, though brief, continues to shine in our hearts, and to Luna, who fills our days with hope and joy. Together, they inspire us to embrace life’s lights and angles and to find beauty in every moment.
