Growing the business has always been a dream, but this year it became my reality!

We are a small but passionate team who value quality over quantity. “Standards” are emphasised at every wedding as we continue to grow, blossom and raise the bar!

When I initially met with Harry and Annie; he only had 2 requests for their big day…
To find someone who could play Paul Kelly songs well ✔️ and… ‘if you can’ incorporate something with fishing that will make guests talk and show that he did in fact have an influence on their big day…

We worked closely with who drew the classiest of illustrations celebrating Harry’s other love; fishing 🎣

When we work with our couples we love to create a day that is truly reflective of them. A design that will have guests talking about how personable it is. A design that is fun yet purposeful.

We work exclusively with our couples for their wedding day and you can be assured that we will be 💯 focused and present with you!

4 years today of With You + Me…

I remember it like yesterday, so many firsts.

A determined mum juggling many balls, who would never accept no for an answer. It was never going to be a no; only ever a new way or angle to achieve it.

Scared beyond belief of chasing a dream that I had pushed aside for many, many years but reminding myself constantly that I just needed to take that first step.

I dived into the industry in the thick of COVID.
Weddings were literally non existent.

I’ve had moments, so many moments 😂 Many times where I thought it was all too hard but I am beyond thankful that I surrounded myself with the most incredible circle that told me to never loose sight.

So I sit here 4 years later, self employed and mind blown of the opportunities that lie ahead. Learning every single day, growing more and more; I can now say the grind is worth it.

I will forever remain grateful to the Conondale Hall who gave me the first chance to showcase what I could create.
Lois, the Hall President gave me the green light all those years ago and my business has blossomed and changed directions ever since.
I’ve learnt you just need that one opportunity and the doors suddenly begin to open.

Since this time I’ve had the pleasure of humble country weddings to high end weddings in Noosa; and every single one will always be special for you + me x

It may be the shortest day of the year, but it’s always one of the most influential for me. Celebrating today; many beautiful laps around the sun ☀️

As the years have gone by in business, there’s one thing I know for certain; I have tapped back into the right path. Quite simply, weddings light my soul.

Combining both the nurturer and creator in me has lead me on this incredible journey of renewal and awakening.
I thrive when I’m in a creative state but also love when I get to care and nurture people for one of their most special and beautiful moments in time. For me, weddings are the perfect combination of both.

What I offer is personalised. It’s not your stock standard wedding. It’s a thoughtfully planned experience that’s reflective of you and your love. I love to get to know my couples, it’s the connection that sparks my ideas and creative vision.
It’s heartfelt, it’s meaningful, it’s genuine and it’s always refined.

I had the opportunity this week to merge my nursing and events experience to help raise funds for McGrath Foundation • I have been overwhelmed by the generosity of both staff and patients alike at SCUH, we truly do have a special community here on the Sunshine Coast. • Even after the cakes were all sold, the donations still kept flowing... 🙏 • Heartfelt thanks to Tome, Maroochydore for so artfully creating such lush cakes for what was a special occasion for many x

It’s no secret that I have come from the healthcare industry to chase my dream and reconnect with my past in hospitality. • In the past year, I’ve come full circle. Working frontline working in fever clinics to save an extra buck to fund this dream I’ve had for a long long time. • Fast forward 12 mths to another lockdown. This time I am a small business, home schooling my kids and trying to support the many gorgeous couples who are due to wed very soon. • My point, running a small business requires strength and determination beyond imagination. We are human too. We are real. We work hard and yes, wish the world would just be normal again. • So please if you are wondering what you can do in this challenging time, support small business, support locals... it’s what will truly change the world forever x

Our commitment is to revive and celebrate all that community halls stand for, through Weddings with You + Me. Raised lovingly by my great grandmother, she showed me to true beauty of her era from a very young age. If I can define what my true mission is, it’s to merge the gap of new and old. History can teach us so much in this fast paced, more is better world. Made with many hands and so much heart, the halls were built to last the test of time. So here we have it, Conondale Public Hall celebrating in all her glory. Filled again with love, laughter and memories to last another generation. . . . She kept chasing her dreams until finally they became her reality... ✨ Sincere thanks and credit to Mrs & Mrs Lacco for sharing this with me. I felt it was fitting today to share with you all the video I took the very first day I went to Conondale Hall, back in February this year. It may sound cliche but for me this was a very special day and one I’ll never forget. This hall sparked something in me that had been missing for sometime now. If I’m honest, I felt like I’d come home. I knew from this day on that I had found the key to what I wanted for my wedding business. It has history, it has meaning, it was built on love and community. Yes, it won’t be everyone’s thing but it’s definitely mine and I cant wait to run with it!! Reviving these little treasures through weddings is something I am extremely passionate about. Tonight I’ll launch our website and I hope you too can see the genuine love and joy I have for weddings and these gorgeous pieces of history.
