When Stephen and I got married, my best friend and bridesmaids put together some notes on love. It’s something I read every year for our anniversary and so I thought I would share my thoughts on love for my first post for 2024…

Love is potential. It’s an openness to newness and possibilities. It’s forecasting happiness and trying new things.

Love is varied. It changes and becomes more beautiful each day.

Love is risky. It’s about putting your heart on the line and accepting whatever comes next.

Love is limitless. Just when you think your capacity to love is at its fullest, another level is created. There is more room for your heart to grow.

Love is a journey. It meanders through the longitudes and latitudes of our hearts, and rests in a spot that only a special few can reach.

🧡 We can get so set on an outdoor location for our perfect day, so I've put together some tips to save you some disappointment.

1. 🌧️ Have a wet weather option - chat with your celebrant if you don't mind getting a bit wet and indoor alternative for crazy weather.
2. 🦺 Do safety checks - remember to check the ground underfoot, especially if you are in heels.
3. ✅ Check with the council for permits - you want to make sure that spot is yours!
4. 🔖Book well in advance - and like anything on the Sunny Coast, spots can get booked up.

👋 Just a little bit more about me...

👶I recently had a baby! See pic :) And trying to get used to the ins and outs of motherhood!

🥰 I became a celebrant after working in marketing and events for over 10 years and absolutely love it.

🤝 I love meeting new people and it's an honour for me to be part of people's momentous celebrations.

☀️ I perform ceremonies in the Sunshine Coast region, but I will also be looking to travel in the future.

➡️canva - designing signs/ stationary etc (free version - but the premium is better)
➡️Paperless post - particularly for save the dates (cost per send)
➡️Google Sheets - Wedding Planner - covers everything you might need to think about (free)
