Yesterday was an absolute comedy of errors. Have to share because business is not all sunshine and roses and beautiful face paints. (Though it mostly is 🤩)

1. Driving to the event, realise I forgot my tent so had to go back and get it 🤦‍♀️
2. Arrived and was offered two spots. Picked the spot on the side where people did not frequent lol! So business was very slow. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️
3. Froze our butts off for hours. Finally got everything packed into the car, butttttt the car battery has gone flat and we are stuck behind a big clown game truck 🫠
4. The lovely guys towed their truck out the way so we could get to the front of my car to jump it.
5. Opened the bonnet and realised the battery is in the boot in my car 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️
5. Had to unpack the whole boot to get into the battery🙄
6. The guys jump my car 🎉
7. Load everything back in the car. Rip my nice jacket with my face paint case 🥺
8.Start trying to leave but someone has been assaulted and the ambos are treating the patient in the only gap in the fence that we could get through. Had to wait for them to get sorted.
9. Finally get out 🎉 It’s almost 10pm
10. Drive home and the car stops when we get to a traffic light 🫠🙄 luckily it starts again.
10. Get home and my drive way is blocked so have to wait to get in.
11. Reverse in and the stuff on my roof hits my garage, lucky no damage. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Come in tired, 🥶frozen to my bones and thinking maybe I should have just stayed in bed that day lol. But some days are just like that. You have excellent days and anti-excellent days haha. We still managed to laugh about it.

So very grateful to the games guys who helped us start our cars with their massive trucks. This is what makes me feel so grateful knowing that there are many nice people in the world who will lend a hand. 🙏

Happy 2024! Pics from the glitter bar I did at my daughter’s 5th birthday recently. Anyone else have a birthday super close to Christmas? It’s a bit hectic at our place end of December! I’ve also had my 2.5 year old in casts on both of her legs, in the hottest summer I can remember! Thanks for bearing with me while I had some time off to be with my family.

I’m now back and ready to take your bookings for the start of 2024. Be sure to get in early as private bookings are limited.
