A few reminders for everyone:

🏅Tonight is our first competition night. We are always needing PARENT HELPERS. With the new season starting and lots of new parents, we understand there are some novices amongst you but we are all volunteers with varying experience and without YOUR help the night does not run as smoothly. If there are enough helpers for your athletes age group we always need help on the finish line.

There will be a committee member or an experienced parent helper assigned to each age group. We are there to help and answer any questions parents may have. We will show parents how you can help and whats required at different events. At all times we must remember we are all volunteers and it's about the children, having Fun, making friends whist learning a new skill they will start to improve on.

👕Uniform purchases at the canteen between 5pm and 5.30pm
Full and correct uniform must be always worn by athletes (except our tiny tots and trialists). Lenience will be given for the first few weeks of the season.

🏃🏼‍♀️ All athletes require appropriate shoes and a drink bottle. Bring a jacket! It can get cold on the grounds this time of year, so bring along something nice and warm for you and the kids.

🦟 Mosquitoes are bad this time of year so you may want to apply Rid or repellent of some kind before arriving.

🚎 Canteen will not be serving hot food tonight as we need all committee members helping PARENTS and ATHLETES.
There will be a van selling WOODFIRED Pizzas. Please order pizzas earlier than required to avoid rush at the end.

📢We will start at 5.30pm with announcements and warm up. First event will be at 5.45pm.

💲 If you have paid using a Fairplay Voucher, please email the voucher to [email protected] (if you haven’t done so already). Remember returning athletes must be registered to participate – they cannot sign the trialist form!

🚗Little athletics doesn't offer 'drop and go'. An adult (parent or carer) must remain with their child for the duration of the event. If you have more than one child, and you are on your own, stay with the child that needs your attention, we just need to know that you’re available if required.

****Please be patient! We have many children who are trying athletics for the first time, so things will run a little slower than normal. It will get quicker once everyone starts to develop their skills and become more familiar with the program.****

Papa’s woodfire pizza will be at Golden Beach Holiday Park Saturday 17th August from 4:30pm-7:30pm.
Outside guest are welcome to come into the park for take away pizzas. We will be located just inside the driveway beside the office. 🍕
