This a fantastic opportunity to showcase and playtest what you've been working on, with a supportive team and our wonderful board game community.

Want merch? You got it, and it's freaking hot🔥.

Here we unveil the Official Play Con 2025 t-shirt which you will be able to pre-order with your tickets. It's cyberpunk-fantasy, and it's perfect.

This shirt was designed by Sam Phillips of Sam Phillips Illustration, best known for the artwork behind many of the Garphill Games such as the Circadians Series, Hadrian's Wall, Raiders of Scythia and many more. Funds raised from the purchase of the shirt will again be going to a charity of Sam's choosing, which is KidsCan, an organisation helping kiwi kids facing poverty.

What do you need to know?
* The shirt is in one colour only, similar to what is shown in the image.
* The shirt is available in men's and women's sizes only. No children's sizes.
* The cost is $35.
* For pre-order only.
* For pick-up only at Play Con.
* Will you regret not pre-ordering? Probably🤣.

Can you think of a game that requires you to be patient? Maybe a game you still enjoy, but you have to wait a long time between turns?

A game that comes to mind is T'zolkin. Those cogs can be quite frustrating as you wait for them to hit their mark, and often you've mistimed things anyway! 🤣🤦

It's been 10 days or so since Play Con ended. So, as the energy and enthusiasm from the event morphs into another type of anticipation, for weekend games with friends, or an upcoming Board Game BBQ game day, I was hit with some animations that Google Photos made. This one made us in the Play Con team, smile. I wish we could remember who they were and their names. If you're reading this post and recognise it, please reach out and say hi as I (Dana), remember taking the image. Over the coming weeks or months, I'll be reaching out to some of you, to see if you'd like to provide a photo (with some context) of your time at Play Con. Something that we can share as a memory.
