SURPRISE! 🤫

5 years ago, my good mates Jonno and Keren tied the knot amidst the daily changes of Covid wedding restrictions- in the end only able to have 10 ‘live’ guests at the ceremony, and cheated out of being able to host the wedding party.. until now!

So much fun officiating their Round 2 ‘re-wedding’ party last week, much to the surprise of Keren, who was not expecting to see all their friends crash their private anniversary dinner plans 💃🏾🕺

These two legends initially crossed paths in their first uni course ‘Intro to Teaching’, then went on to build an amazing relationship; culminating in their successful completion of my ‘Intro to Marriage’ ceremony last weekend 💍

It was so much fun every time I hung out with Sami and George before the wedding, so it’s not a surprise the ceremony was a banger!

And just like that…I transformed from being colleagues with Dana one day, into her celebrant the next, officiating her marriage to Jedo in front of a close group of friends and workmates.

Congrats DANA + JEDO ♥️ 13 years together, going from meeting in a dimly lit University classroom in The Philippines allll the way to tying the knot on the edge of Sydney Harbour! 💍

Congrats to this fun loving couple 😍 - what a full circle moment marrying them just a couple of kilometres down the road from where they had their first encounter at a mutual friend’s wedding 6 years earlier.

Presenting Contiki’s best love export- Steph and Lani 😍🇺🇸🇳🇿

Initially meeting on a tour of the USA, they cemented their connection on a follow up Contiki across New Zealand amidst the serene backdrop of iced glaciers, snow capped mountains, crystal blue lakes and the gentle doof doof of backpacker nightclubs.
