Very occasionally, Scott's good influence rubs off on me. But I won't be making a habit of 4.30am workouts. No sir. π₯³ π€£π
I tried to post a serious reel today but every time I tried to upload it, it would upload with the music volume up way too high. So I deleted it, fixed the volume and tried to post it again, and AGAIN it posted the volume way too high. I gave up, and made a silly one instead. Which was a lot more fun (for me). Also a reminder that it's okay not to take it all too seriously. ππ« ππ€ͺ
To all my friends out there beginning again, or walking into a new chapter, or trying to muster the courage, or feeling like they can't get ahead... this is for you.
Side note, positive thinking won't move the needle all the way, you do have to put in the work, but gosh it makes the work more enjoyable, more exciting, more rewarding and that does a lot of the work for you. π
I feel like the body often tells you what's up before the brain. My ego kept me in the industry for longer than I should have stayed, but for years when auditions landed in my inbox, I felt a sinking feeling in my tummy and anxiety crept in. The pressure to land a job was huge. My body was telling me: "I don't like this. I don't want to do this anymore." It took me a while to listen but eventually I felt that I couldn't keep pouring everything I had into a career that didn't really give back. What I really wanted was to have purpose in my life. I have that now. The universe has a funny way of guiding us π
Come on peeps... Help Jules come up with her online dating profile. She's really struggling!! ππ€―
Another couple of questions from you to mum. @rachelwardofficial
There are some more serious ones to come, haven't got to the acting or farming questions yet but I will! Thought a silly one for Sunday to make you smile was best.
1. What are you best at?
2. What makes you laugh.
I feel like I'm mum's little fact checker in these videos. Yes you are" "no you're not" π π
Wow so many great questions. Thank you for such a kind and loving response to my mum. Reading them out to her she said "oh my god I might cry!" I especially love how different these are to my dad's ones.
There were lots that doubled up on on some subjects so forgive me if we don't answer yours directly, hopefully we have in some way through another.
First few off the rank.
1. How do you keep your serenity?
2. What's your favourite thing to cook and eat?
Thanks again, stay tuned x
Trying my best to sum up a wonderful few weeks in our new home with a weekend trip to The Kangaroo valley squeezed in. Anouk spent the first week saying she hated it and wanted our old home back, but has finally come round π₯³. Highlight has been having Scott's mum Maureen and partner David visit. They helped us with the move which was not intended but a God send. (Maureen is not featured here because every time I try and get her on camera she slinks away or groansπ. Am I right Maureen? I know you're reading this). Special mention to David, aka Mr Fix it, who wakes up every day asking what jobs need to be done. He probably deserves his own DIY Instagram page to be honest.
Scott hasn't really had time to sink in to the home yet, as he has been working non stop at The Good Farm kitchen, keeping up with orders! Our new bratt pan is in, which means (as promised) less meals selling out and more happy customers. π₯°
Thanks for all the very lovely messages about the house. You have all been so sweet about it. ###
