✨Against all odds, I stand here today as a walking miracle! On the 6th of December 2001 my world changed forever after a motor vehicle accident left me with two metal plates a rod and 6 bolts placed in my spine to hold me back together The doctors shared their bleak outlook about my future, I was diagnosed with major depression, PTSD, severe anxiety just to name a few and here are just a few things I heard ✨You will never walk again ✨You will suffer chronic pain for the rest of your life ✨You will never work again ✨You can’t have anymore children ✨As you get older the worse it will get (im 45 now I had my accident when I was 21) I felt like my world was crumbling. They painted a bleak picture, but deep down, I knew I had the strength to fight back. With every challenge, I chose hope over fear and determination over doubt. Through the ups and downs, I’ve learned that our resilience is more powerful than any diagnosis. Every day is a gift, and I’m grateful for the journey that has shaped me into who I am today. I have learned that ✨You achieve what you believe ✨You can let it make you or break you ✨Life is short ✨We hold a power that can’t be explained I truly believe this is Gods work ✨We always have a choice ✨Not everyone gets second chances I’m not sharing my story for praise or pity im sharing it to give someone hope I pray someone out there sees this and it gives them the hope and strength to know they can make it too Im here to celebrate the strength within us all!
