Sorry for the MIA — I’ve been busy these last few days on a solo trip, enjoying my own company and…
• crafting my own chopsticks in the middle of Japan,
• eating in places where the English menus are handwritten in a notebook,
• hiking the Nakasendo Trail, enjoying the beautiful scenery, and scaring bears away with every bell I find (mum: I’ve survived 😉🐻)
• wandering through the streets of Tokyo and discovering the most beautiful food alleys,
•Drinking coffee during the 16 hours of my awaken day,
•enjoying matcha like I will never see it again in my life,
• learning that for every tiny restaurant there’s an even tinier bathroom (😂🤦🏼♀️ ouch!!),
• realizing that eating at a Michelin-starred kaiseki isn’t absolutely necessary — but I very highly recommend it,
• and discovering that you can find the most peaceful places even in the busiest streets and sip your tea (a very fancy one) quietly …
• meeting the loveliest people,
• receiving the kindest gifts,
• and, of course… experiencing the most exquisite food.
I’ll be sharing all my experiences here — there are so many… stay tuned 🧡
