Sunday Fried Rice
Recipe for 2:
- 400g Steam Rice (fresh cooked or overnight)
- 200g Prawn
- 30g Oil
- 8g Salt
- 24g Soy Sauce
- 40g Carrot
- 40g Mushroom
- 40g Caulini
- 40g Kai Lan (Chinese Broccoli, only top part)
- 20g Garlic (about 4 cloves)
- Pinch of black pepper
- Pinch of baking soda
- 1 egg (1-2 egg is fine)

To make Sunday Fried Rice. Chopped Caulini, Kai Lam, Carrot, Mushrooms and set a side. Prawn, half cut on its back, added baking soda and a bit of oil and mixed well, did this so the prawn stayed fresh and crispy after cooked. Chopped up garlic. In this video, I used my leftover garlic. In a wok on medium heat, added a bit of oil, egg go in and stir until it just cooked, set a side. In the same wok, added a bit of oil, garlic stirred until it was slightly brown, added prawn and cooked until just cooked around 1-2 minutes then set aside. In the wok with some oil added garlic, again stirred until slightly brown added Caulini, correct, Kai Lan, Mushrooms, stirred until slightly cooked around 1-2 minutes, added rice, prawn, egg, salt, soy sauce and black pepper then gave it a good 2-3 minutes cooked until all very well combined. All done and enjoy.

Our frozen food packs are back. Dumplings are ready to cook and serve to warm up your winter dinner……etc. They are all handmade from pastry to filling from our local ingredients as small batch. We picked vegetables from local grocery as wholesale and bought whole pieces of meat then grounded ourselves. All fresh made and freezes straightaway.

Place your order through our website below. Then pick up from our cafe in Gordon or we can deliver to your door.
