Next week (15th-18th) we’re running a DJ PRODUCER CAMP for youngstaz at our hideout in Rosebery.

We have just 2 spots left for any budding superstars aged 7-12

They will get to use the latest studio gear to create dope beats, produce fire tracks, mix and scratch up their favourite songs and essentially become musical superheroes.
The sessions run all day.

Moments after posting the Bron video , I received the link for the premier of DOBBY’s “Dirrpi Yuin Patjulinya” video ( meaning “the bird names himself” in Ngemba language of Brewarrina.)

As our family are preparing to leave the snowy minus degrees of Stockholm in less than 2 weeks, this video process has kept me connected to the land where we are returning. It’s also kept me warm .. The bird call in the song feels like a message from the land to return to New South Wales!

I’ve enjoyed generating the footage for Vyvienne Abla and Rhyan Clapham using , to tell an important story based on the atrocious treatment by the state of the Murray Darling Water Basin resulting in the death of flora, fauna and over a million fish.

The video launches in about an hour.

In the distance is war and destruction, missiles are firing overhead while families are sleeping on the ground desolate and hungry. The alien walks on the land to observe the earths atrocities.

This electronic breakbeat rap track is written from the perspective of a cyborg who arrives to earth to witness destruction, greed, famine, homelessness and all of humanity's other flaws. He asks the question of what it means to be human. He chooses NOT HUMAN. the story and animation will reveal itself in August !!!

Australian was in the theatre last night for the Sydney premiere of . It was a reunion for me to return to Sydney this week and join in with the community to celebrate the trailblazers of my favourite culture.
